What is Elliott Wave

Prices like everything else in the universe moves in waves. Because human beings like everything else in the universe buy and sell in waves. E.g. a sandwich shop does not have many customers until 12pm and then they all come at the same time. Impulse of people getting hungry. Traffic, morning and evening are busy waves of traffic. waves in the sea, waves in the air, everywhere. So Elliott Wave is this: when there is nothing happening, eventually something wiill happen. And when all buyers or sellers create a waves of either buying or selling, it is usually followed by a period of correction/retrace/sideways no activity market. Buyers sellers either disagree on a certain price zone or they agree on something and price remains the same within a range for some time. then there usually is a second wave of buying or selling . it usually ends then. that's Elliott wave. now we can complicate it as much as we like.

good nite

Hi Immy!

I am a new member here, gotta say, you guys have your stuff together. Excellent system "AIMS" and the logic behind it. You and others involved have done an excellent job in revealing the true nature of the market and how there is structure behind the perceived chaos.

I like the phrase that you mentioned "when there is nothing happening, eventually something wiill happen." Holds true for life in general as well.

Thanks

Mayur!

Thank you. Nice way to start the day. Appreciation! When we are in the state of appreciation. It is considered the highest, most conducive to being in the zone state. Gratitude. , love, joy, knowledge, appreciation are at the top of the list. And we must all make this a habit of starting our day with Gratitude. It brings more of what we are grateful about! Thank You thank you thank you.

And I'm grateful that I caught a trade on EU m15. Good Morning to everyone! I won't be updating more today, as I agree with Bettina, checking and updating forum does keep some of my neurons engaged in it instead of helping me trade better. Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Bettina!

and thanks for the good wishes, they were heard. I'm so happy to have hit this nice campaign for 74 pips. I'm eternally grateful. It worked out so perfectly. I had a doubt but I shunned int and hit the ALT-A key kicked them all out of the window. This time it was easy to hold. Belief system was strong as eWave was clear. No WCS in my head.

thanks.. Have a nice day all of you.... lets hope we catch some more! woohooo

A look at M5 or 10s eWave analysis do the same job. But a look on M5 is also good if you did not take eWave's as a major subject in your post graduate forex studies! haha

Gator Wide Open, AO, eWave is peaking not diverging. has one peak and retrace. perfect.
