thanks for your nice words !

Another EJ +20 ! I know it could have been more, but at the moment I'm happy with the SL7/TP20 model !
It's nearly 1:3 and I have more trust in it than on anything with EU.

AGREED! keep going! nice very nice.

That's where I burn all my account ( see EJ pic ) : Now I know : that damn thing has a name : SADDLE
It's really crazy. I noticed my feelings. I don't know who I am and where I am. I see PCs up and down, not thinking of the fact, that we are not trending. I don't even think of looking after setups, well a dot above alli, another one below alli.
I think I didn't even know which direction the trend was .............

The nightmare was over, when I remembered that there was something like M5, put sell POs below M5 levels and closed my eyes.

With the last trade and the EU one I am at least positive for the day. Premature close of EJ because it bounced back at the daily pivot, which usually is rather strong. Additionally I was completely exhausted.

Don't beat yourself up too much Bettina. You're going towards your goals in the right direction. You just need to stay focused and don't over complicate things. Keep it simple. We've got to stay Focused, relaxed, confident, ready to pounce but at the same time not too reckless. Well done. Soon it will be time for you to let it run and cash in all those rents. In my case i pay a lot of rents and make them all back when it trends and I add on.

cheers

Hi good morning !

Nice catch to start the day : 22 pips on EJ.
Though the M1 box was a big one, the M5 setup looked too promising.
Exit at 60Min low and when M5 had reached w5.

Chops and saddles

Unread post by Bettina »

as I wrote in the other thread, it seems that M1 has no control ( means that M1 setups or not relevant ) when M5 starts w4 with AO cross after w3.
Might be cristal clear to many of you. it was not to me. See the pic to explain what I mean.
I didn't get it, thoug I was waiting for that M5 setup all morning - because I wanted to wait for the news :))

Not being in the NOW

Unread post by Bettina »

Hi,

this is a nice example for not being in the Now.
By looking at higher TFs and all eWaves I was pretty sure that EU and EJ must go down.
Had my POs set in the marked area because of red dots.
Thought: Oh nice, price has come below 34SMA and now has retested. Fine.
Therefore I ignored ( or didn't see ) the following black dots on EU and the blue one on EJ
EJ triggered and I took a rent, EU didn't.

Shortly afterwards both had a nice rush down ! Oh, I was right ! :)) ;) :)) ;)

You know, why I didn't get those ! (Thought I was wrong, currencies were up)

Bettina

NB : this is rather typical for me. I think about ignoring higher time frames, because they lead me to assumptions, which principally prove to happen, but not in the very near future.

Immy !

Thanks thousand times for that picture !
Confirmed trend.png
I think I forgot one of the most basic rules of the setup.
I knew of course that we trade in the direction of the higher time frame, but I noticed that I was more and more not sure, what it was. I always took the direction of the last w3 of M5 for the trend.
And I never understood, what you mean by "a confirmed trend" ( it's not directly mentioned in the setup book ), but of course there is a chapter about M5 alli sleeping and M5 alli awake.
But somehow I forgot it. That it means an S1 on M5 : Whow, I didn't know ! This is a major Aha effect
, as silly as it may sound afterwards.
(rofl) :(( (rofl) :(( (rofl) :(( (rofl) :(( (rofl)
I don't know when this information got lost in my brain :
I remember you saying that you more and more take the inner aims level and probably misunderstood that completely.
90% of my rents don't have a confirmed M5 trend in that sense !!!

I knew that there was something wrong ( and that it was not my mind or fear or whatever ), but didn't find out.

Thanks again !

You know, making these pictures and writing over them etc, takes so much energy and time but I had this sudden urge to record it. Its not that I want to be a guru and to show off what I know, but rather I know that when I stop recording such things and keep reminding myself over and over I gradually begin to forget the main strategy and before I know I'm tinkering with some otehr template. So I have to keep reminding myself again and again what is the main concept. There was this urge, one side of my brain saying "you moron, why did you not trade it" the other side was arguing, it was not a setup. "but Adem, your friend took it", and then i heard me saying ," but he trades his rules, and you trade your rules".. you know what I mean. So I had to quite my mind by giving it an objective visual answer. I was not aware that actually there would be someone else a few thousand miles away thinking about the similar things. So I 'm glad that I shared this picture and I'm glad that you've experienced an "ah-ha" moment. I love it when it happens. Thats why Sharing is Caring and Sharing expands knowledge. We must always share our knowledge because unlike any other material commodity in the world knowledge does not decrease in size by sharing, it expands!

cheers

ps: wooo i'm getting thrill bumps! ...haha
