Re: Grants Journal

all the trades today except 1 (maybe 2) were double AIMS (m1/5) breaks... Mother Fx just had the hump today...

Re: Grants Journal
TG,
As discussed in the chat room attached are 2 pics, m1 and m5 hopefully highlighting what i mean..
at time of writing this it hasn't retraced to the 23 fib and looks like it may go higher.... it happens...
for those not in the room heer is a copy of the chat that prompted these charts
Grant: tg, i would like t osee a deeper retrace before attempting long.... if i miss an extended move so be it.... i'll add it to the miss from earlier...
tg: Grant....agree....just trying to get away from thinking too much (always costs me) and follow the rules / setups more......as per the Mantra....and as am a newbie to this system still trying to take it all in, so i see 5 min nicely long and a sleeping 1 min, so thought as per rules i should take it if it broke up again.....but need to read and re read the rules as have not "got" it all yet by any means 10:44 AM
Grant: TG, Imran and i have known each other 4 ish years now and traded together for most of it... During that we traded EU exclusively on m1/5 for along time and the one thing we cant teach is experience... watching PA day in and day in on 1 pair and 1 TF teaches you sooo much.... 10:46 AM
Grant: so we now have a AO 3 on m5, but we dont yet ahve a completed 1-5 on m1 to say that 3 is over... 10:47 AM
Grant: thus we wait for a 4th wave on m1 10:47 AM
Grant: and then try and trade the 5th up 10:48 AM
Grant: Elliot states that wave 4s will generally (BUT NOT ALWAYS lol) retrace at least 38% of its wave 3 10:48 AM
Grant: so i will wait out a retrace to that level and then go hunting for a long set up... 10:49 AM
Grant: like i said earlier it may give me the finger and not retarce enoguh and carry on north... if it does i will call a couple of names and wait out the next move.... 10:49 AM
Grant: hope that rambling makes sense.... 10:50 AM
tg: perfect.....great to have the help 10:50 AM
tg: would you also hope then during the 4th for the 5 min AO to come down nearer to the ZL or at least into a "low"
any questions let me know
Grant

Re: Grants Journal
Afternoon
Every time i try and watch 2 pairs my account seems to take a beating... so after an open and honest assessment of how i'd done watching 2 pairs the conclusion is to revert to 1 pair which will be EU....
If i ever say i am going to watch more than pair on m1 then someone please put me out of misery....
Thus today was the 1st day of EU only and i have to admit i enjoyed every minute of it.... It felt like i was back with an old friend... (rofl)
