Nice trading Sam. I paid a couple of rents during that same choppy period, then missed the big move because of the school run! I must take a leaf out of your book! (wd)

These are what I call add on entries. And without a "parent" running from the start of the trend they become aggressive. But I always say its better to be aggressive within a confirmed trend then aggressively Trying to find out the Trend trading the breakouts!

AUDUSD -7
EURUSD -3,-4, -3.

Though it is good to exit as soon as possible when its not going your way, it is important to follow a certain criteria that gives you an edge. Looking at your exits on EU, I see some inconsistency. I'm sure you had your reasons unknown to me. The important thing is, it does not matter if its a loss as long as its small and we don't let it dilute our clarity of mind! Emotions and not staying in the now can result in loss of objectivity which may lead to inconsistent decision making and thus making it harder or impossible, in some cases, to maintain "consistent" success.

Many pips to you!

I like your charts. They are original un-tampered beautiful. That itself is a great achievement and a sign of consistency. And in trading winning trades is not an indication of long term success. But consistently taking the same trades over and over is the sign of long term success. It is consistency that we are all after not just winning trades. Winning trades are just but a part of the process and so are the rents.

fxsam wrote:H1 breakout with DA and nice setup on m5 & m15. I took it on m5. Let it ran. It went 34 pips in my favour. My target was H1 aims level on the left which was 60 pips. i left it to ran overnight but it closed on BE and then trend went and hit that target. Unfortunate. Rinse NEXT....
There is a strange trade I noticed. when you comment "H1 breakout with DA" and then Buy Trade. I think your entry was right at a possible resistance zone and the entry was more than 30 pips away from AIMS break. what do you think?

I was trailing AIM level but then realized EU already moved 80 pips for the day and some news were scheduled for the day so i closed it. good 27 pips.
