Makes perfect sense Immy. A beautiful mind you have. You talking my home language...

As you know. I am a engineering science boy. We are all fortunate to have been endowed with a wonderful mind. (scratch the brain).
The mind has the purpose to assess variables and provide/apply solutions for it. When done so under optimum conditions (meditations etc), it assimilates it into it's operations as ability. These abilities then seem inherent in the person and may be difficult to be replicated by others at first.

Fortunately, it can still be done through understanding and study of the correct principles, like the above. That's what these minds of ours are good at.... when driven to good purpose by oneself, the higher Theta...

Herbert Well Said! Please carry on.. say some more.... (hug)

I found a video of Tony Robbins, my favorite success coach since I was a teenager. (Everyday in every way I'm getting better and better)

There is a message in this. A millimeter change. The butterfly effect. The power of moving a few rocks at the source of a river may change the whole direction of the river. A small change in a Tradings System, could have dramatic Positive or Negative effects. That one little rule that you think is just useless may change your system from one of the best to worst.

It also now reminds me of "three feet to gold"

EU Created a Beautiful FO and LO Setups. It was pretty easy to trade EU Longs today. The trend was up all the way upto H1. As we have already seen in the pictures above. The position of the setup within the higher degree waves is something to look for.

Using the 1:1 sell half MM technique I effectively converted this trade into a small winner instead of a rent.

Immy. You were curious about how I managed to have a losing day today and where I paid rent. I have attached my trades for the day on EU:

http://screencast.com/t/ch5Gf2q2qDM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Unfortunately I had to stop trading earlier than usual so I may have had a couple of winners in the afternoon.

Any feedback on my trades would be appreciated, although I guess I should start my own journal! There was one trade I took where the Ali lines were slightly outside the box which I was not sure if it was a valid trade or not.

Cheers,

Darren

Thank you Darren for getting back to me and attaching your pictures.

I have a Simple Answer (because I know that you know what you've done, and I know that you know what should be doing)

First Trade was perfect entry but could have been managed in a better way, if you've already eliminated risk, why trail price so close to levels? To let it run, you gotta give it space. Specially if you're using my MM 1:1 sell half technique, i said trail 2 fractals behind until you see divergence. But thats ok. Immediately after you close your first trade you'd have realized you are 1 bloody percent up. Stop trading. but anyway, lets continue, there was a lovely setup for anotehr 2% by then you'd be 3% up and you won't need to trade those silly trades between the fourth wave. Could you please take a smaller picture showing the same trades on m5 chart and lets see what we see. Trade less to make more....

cheers

Cheers Immy. You are right, I do now what I did and looking at the same trades on the 5 min chart paints a very clear picture.

Looking at your chart, the first blue line is a trade that I would have taken but I was on the school run at the time. The school run does really hit my profits sometime!

The second blue line is a trade that I was trying to enter as I thought a move was coming soon (around NYO) but I was trying to enter using M5/15 levels on the 1 min chart but the trade didn't set up (I don't think!) and moved too quickly and too much to get a good setup on the 1 min. In hindsight I should have entered on the 5 min or 15 min chart and traded it on the 5 min/15 min, but things can become very clear when looking back at a picture of your daily trades!

Thanks for your feedback, it has really helped. :)

Based on the longer term view of the market, I was confident to take EU long. EJ and UJ dropped while EU did not respond. As soon as GU moved a bit higher and EJ AND UJ pulled back, EU started flying. I had plotted a fib retracement on H1 chart and a BDC appeared right at the 50%. (its not a holy grail tool but it helps with what Steve Calls "confluence" )

Clean and simple news trade taking advantage of the clear trend direction as a consequence of newsy momentum! Momentum brings life to charts... if you can play it you can make certain grains on a regular basis.
