The Setup is correct. There is always a random distribution of winners and losers for any given set of variables the defines an edge, which we call The Setup. Lets see what comes out of it.
Having said that I am long on AU D1

Hi Mea

If you're new to trading AIMS, you must first install V5.1 and understand the setup. Once you have read the book and understood the setup and you want to excel towards the advanced technique The Seed and yet more advanced The Fruit you may then read this thread from start to finish. You may then use The Seed any latest version and / or The fruit whichever is the latest version.

As you may have read earlier in this post, the chart freeze may be due to outdated software. Please check that you have the latest build of MT4. Usually, indicators coded on latest build create problems with older versions (these days that's the norm) So please make sure you are on build 500 or above.

Let me know if this helps

Re: Daily Trade Opportunities anyone ...?

Unread post by Bettina »

Hi Immy,

are these ones valid fruits down on EU H1 and GU H1?
I'm not sure, which peak counts for angulation, the w5 or the peak of the BDC ?
Must the BDC be on top of the wave ?
Does it remain valid, if price exceeds the top of the bar and then comes down ?

Hi Bettina!

Firstly, I moved your post to the Seed thread. (hug)

ok so the answers.

Q: are these ones valid fruits down on EU H1 and GU H1?
The Seed or The Fruit must NOT be taken when Entry is Inside Gator Lines. as a rule.
Specially for Fruit. IB can be inside Gator and traded in the direction of the trend as long as entry is outside of gator or at least below or above blue line.
The next answer will further clarify this question.

Q. I'm not sure, which peak counts for angulation, the w5 or the peak of the BDC ?
Angulation is done using Gator Lines NOT AO peaks! eWave or AO is used for counting the wave. I hope it makes sense

Q. Must the BDC be on top of the wave ?
OH YES

Q. Does it remain valid, if price exceeds the top of the bar and then comes down ?
Yes, as long as there is still angulation. just like BDC on AU last night. (well done Michal)

Thanks Immy,

so both were not fruits, because
a ) their lows/entries were not above the gator lines
b ) their tops were not at the peak of w5 for EU and w3 for GU

But I don't undestand your answer to angulation. I thought angulation is measured by the angle between blue line and price movement.
I would like to now which price movement, the red ( top of wave ) or the green ( top of BDC ), if I want to see the quality of the BDC.

Great question and good you asked, as there is an inherent discrepancy in how we see our charts. The Red line marking the price is not connected in any way to the position of the BDC in your chart. Sure the angulation was great at the time when the red line may be drawn and it was still yesterday. However, we did not get BDC at the top there, yesterday. but when you drew teh green line, it was in correct as now the line drawn through price should be something like I show in the picture attached.

The Purple and BDC

Unread post by immy »

The Purple and BDC

The Purple can also be used for BDC's in the following Ways.

1. The farther away the BDC from the Purple the better. Trade a BDC toward Purple and use it as target area.
2. The close the BDC to Purple, the more chances are that your BDC may be within a congestion on 5x HTF.

think about it and let me know what you think! cheers

Ok. yes that was the question, whether a BDC coming a little after the top is still valid or not. It's not, great !

Reason: Correction: in the picture I wrote the horizontal line, I meant the maroon diagonal line :)
