Re: EU M5/M1 Strategy - (Immy's Journal)

This guy said on the 16 of May that Pound was set to go further down... bu the Fruit Strategy told us to Go Long!

The problem with analyst is this. They want to predict. And No one can predict accurately. They can be right only 50% of the time. So can you be if you just randomly put trades here and there.

When is it OK to trade Against Purple

Unread post by immy »

Can we trade against purple and if yes, when is it the best time to trade against purple?

When the 1-5 count is complete and/or when you're looking for reversals. For reversals the farther away from purple the better.
So if you believe you're in 3rd wave, don't trade towards purple, unless price has gone too far too fast away. If its gone too far too fast away from gator chances are it would have gone too far from purple too. There are times in the market when reversals have higher probability than trend continuation!

I post a picture of EUR/USD Daily Chart here... see what happened when there was a Nice S1 Setup but the long trade was against purple. the count 1-5 down was complete and it went up so beautifully.

Hi Immy, nice to see your good old M5/M1 trades. I'm watching only EU and not much happening. Sometimes NFP days are producing fantastic trades on London open but today it seems to be a bit quiet.

EJ was near its H1 level Break to the downside. I thought if I get in below the lows on m1 and m5 and h1 it should give me something. it was good setup on m1.

Chatroom: Immy: EJ near break of H1. 8:56

Thanks Tomi! (Thanks Sam)
I've doing it every am at LO but I don't much talk about it as I've filled my journal with hundreds of trades. Its just the same thing over and over...
NFP mornings are usually funny. But on m1, really, every day, every hr is the same. Anything can happen! (ain't that true for the whole market?)

cheers

A brick layer learns a technique that works! he lays bricks day in and day out! same technique... Boring yes, but too boring when the account grows gradually with the power of compounding!
