S2 set-up on H1 ---> add 1%. Currently trade is 4% (chart below)...and 135 PIPS of "travel" so far...
- Place 2 PO BUY STOP on EA. Just triggered now (chart below)

Comments:

- Preparation is KEY = the better you prepare your day of trading, the better things will work out for you
- I manage to finish up my trade daily routine spreadsheet to be used at the end of each day (file below)
- It's great to trade, be "in phase" with the market...Well I repeat myself, but need to say it...THX VERY MUCH Immy, Steve (Snorm), all the AIMS Team!!! Never trade like this, so relax, so profitable!!!!!!
- I'll stop trading here, and will catch bak by NY open

Afternoon trade

- EA did not go any where, so closed @-2PIPS
- NFP against my trade, so got stopped out on UJ.
- Still a wonderful trade with a gain of ...103PIPS (not sure of my calculation but 2.2%)...

My comments

- This was a TREMENDOUSLY GOOD trading week
- Enough now, I'll get prepared for my WE -musical this time...-
- Ah one thing = I get a surprise since what I got from my trade was less by about 30PIPS of what I calculated. So called my broker. Answer = during high volatility SL are not GUARANTEED... Are you aware of this Immy and other experts here?
- So whatever happens from now on, if this proves to be "normal", then I'll stop all my trades before a RED news...
- Still want to emphasize it = this was an extraordinary profitable trading week.

Have an excellent WE all, and get back fresh on Tuesday (yes long WE this time :-)))

Thanks for the Vacation wish. and congratulations on having completed a successful trading week. Remember consistency is the key. Your mind next week might start playing its tricks, it may or may not have a script that is hidden from the conscious side which is designed to maintain course, it is designed to resist change, and it is inter linked with deep subconscious belief system and it will do anything to stop any actions that may result in change. IN simple words, the moment you find that trading is a simple game, your mind might start looking for something more sophisticated because it may say it just can't be this simple and that my friend is what happens to 90% of traders who dont make money consistenlty. They stop doing exactly the things that made them successful in the first place (just like the lovers who turn into big time arguers) . They are trying to improve their trading by simply trying something new. They think if they cna be so good using simple than trying complexity might further improve their performance. We as humans love to exaggerate and complicate things but reality is simple.

Red News: I would love to trade em all but that is exactly the problem we stay from it as you explained in your post. Price can jump your SL and your broker does not take responsibility. Its "NORMAL" as they call it. Other red news might be, for the sake of argument, just fine to trade but NFP is the mother of all news. We don't mess with nfp. I've seen NFP move the market 200 pips in a sec and 300 back the other side. I have seen a perfectly nice winning position turn into a -60 loser. Been there done that... I trade news ... slightly after news are released... thats it, simple.

Consistency is the key and the only way forward. I wish you all the best and consistently successful trading career.
Cheers

Hi Immy,

thanks very much for your very wise advises! Yes I'll keep it SIMPLE. I'll definitely use the very same routine, trying just to improve my entries and exits...

Aug 17, morning trade

Back from a looonnnng (and beautiful) WE...
- decides to go for AJ (note = there were many opportunities, but it sticked to this one...)
- chart is attached

My comments:
- Sorry to say it once more = it is very easy when/if you follow the rules (well of course and understand them as well :-)))
- I was about to be greedy...but finished up to take the right decision = exit...In other word, when you have made 1%, you're done for the day...my trade was not 1%, much more...
- Since I love trading this way, I'll still be there at NY Open :-)))

Aug 7, afternoon trade

- favorite set up (SEED) with my favorite pair (EJ)
- 1 free trade still ongoing. Attached chart

Comments

- Waouh did you see GBPJPY = went more than 100PIPs one way, then moved 200PIPs the other way, in a matter of minutes!!!! And SL is not guaranteed during RED news. I fully understand what Immy meant!!!
- SEED is definitely my favorite set up
- I have difficulty trading FRUIT; in reality I don't know how to select the right fruit. Will re read the e-book + many posts here. Seems to me very promising, ...if mastered correctly...

Question please = My understanding so far ---> for a fruit to be "valid"/taken, need to check the following:
1/ of course presence of FRUIT signal
2/ AO position (top/bottom) + change of momentum (red to green, or green to red)
3/ There is a divergence between AO and PRICE
4/ We are in a target zone
5/ We have squat bar (per BW MFI)

Can some expert please confirm?
Also, whereas target zone for WAVE 5 is clear to me, what is the target zone for WAVE 3?

Thank you/KR

(wd) Perfect setup indeed! That's the ideal price action to drop to a lower timeframe (such as M1) to find the high probability entry with a small stop loss. Small stop loss = bigger position = greater return from the same move. Nice trading!

Aug 8, afternoon trade

- Sticked to my favorite UJ pair
- Long "wait" time...and finally the setup S1 again on m5, along with a SEED on H1. So entered on the S1 on M5, and now following the trade on H1...
- Chart is attached

Comments

- Market was waiting for USD RED news before moving. Strange enough = good news for USD, yet USD gets weaker...well just have to follow the market...
- FRUIT starts to be clear...not 100% yet, but close close...
