Aug 9, Afternoon Trade

- No trade this morning, since I woke up too late, so missed the right entries...well sometimes I need some good sleep!
- Prepare for EJ
> EJ D1 Starting to point South
> EJ H1 beautiful SEED
> move down to EJ M5 to capture S1 entry
> Total of 3 entries, 2 x 0.5% each
> Currently 3 entries 1 x 0.5% each, "free trades", on going

Comments
- I was very frustrated this morning having missed ALL those opportunities!!!
- Again big big big temptation to find a "good reason" to jump into a "too late" trade...but I finish up resisting -yes yes yes!!!
- And beautiful gift this afternoon with this perfect set up!!! All charts attached

Week review
- A second very profitable week in a row -never never had this in the past!-
- Few small losses, mainly due a bit of indiscipline -I enter, no I don't, but I need to enter...finally entered, and too late my friend...Need to understand why I am "hesitating" whereas the setup is CLEARLY there... Mental stuff!!!

Need to improve
- Understanding of FRUIT strategy...not yet there...
- Elliott Wave...What I miss :
> when we have set up 1, it MUST be an impulse wave = OK! so W1, 3, 5 or even C
> say I am on H1. How can I "map" this to an upper time frame wave? In other word W3 which is for W3 of the upper time frame is "better" than W3 of WC of the upper time frame
> also which higher time frame would my H1 W3 relate to (H4, D1, W1...???)

Of course I'm going to read, do research...But any kind of help, hint would be very very welcome!!!

Great trade Fran! Without over analysing there's a couple of my favourite features.....

And SL above the M1 AIMS high (HTF break with LTF SL) could have been as little as 6 pips. Nice!

No trade at all today, since the market looks asleep. This gives me time to review my last week trades:
- All my "missed" trades were on M5.
- All my SEED trades were successful, very profitable.
- Tried a FRUIT trade, and failed...Now I understand WHY this trade failed = like SEEDS, all FRUITS are not "born equal" )))...
- Reviewing charts on M5, there seem to be pretty numerous false start = price "fakes" to move one way, then move brutally the other way.

Over the WE I had plenty of time to do some good reading, specially Bill Williams famous book (1st edition)...and wow this along with re reading AIMS ebook and posts clarify many of my questions. The funny thing is that well I am where I started...e.g. regarding FRUIT I can spell Immy's explanation word by word...Then I start asking questions to myself...Then now it is clear, nothing new, nothing has changed, just got the "simplicity" of it!!!

From now on I'll stick to trading on H1 (or above depending on available Signals). And if there is no Signal at all, then just...wait...wait...and again wait.

Today was a very good "exercise" = no Signal all day -for my preferred pairs- well just wait...sooner or later Signals will pop up...
