Wonderful trading again Fran, you are banking pips on the reg! Nice one!
This trade just shows that when there is a trend and some price movement there's plenty of ways (using AIMS) to get involved. You've used the fruit nicely here but some entries with ZL crosses away from the purple would be banking profit too.... sweet! \:D/
Now, I choose to make a profit in trading.

Hi

Fantastic trade. My first trade of September came to me at midnight UK time when I saw this pair forming a perfect S1. I jumped in put SL below aims low at 98.00 and slept. Perfect ... worked well. on other days it may not work at times but this is what it is. This is the setup now all we have to do is to keep our winners at least twice as big as our losers and we are dancing... I don't always use TP but on some occasions I do.

Hi Michal,

I'm not trading on MT4 directly. My "broker" is saxobank; under certain circumstances they "guarantee" no slip (counterpart being they take stop/limit order at a minimum distance of 20pips...). Hence I take market order most of the time -I'm there and follow the action- Hope this help

Michal

in MT4 this happens only for long trades. what happens is that where ever you put your PO lets suppose its 1.3010 and you have 3pip spread by your broker. As soon as price reaches 1.3007 it will open a trade for you. For short trades it opens exactly at the level you request, so lets suppose you go short at 1.3010 it will open short at 1.3010 but for shorts, if you have setup target point of 1.3005 and your spread is 3 pips it will close only when price drops to 1.3002. Bloody brokers...

(the above may not be true for all MT4 brokers I like commission based instead of this... but thats whole world of its own again. in the end the broker always makes money becasue thats their business. they are in the service industry, they provide the service of letting you take part in the "swarm" of forex...)

I hope it helps!

Sept 3, morning trades

- 2 very good opportunities this morning

- long UJ again...(chart below)
- and long UChf (chart below)
- both trades with 1% on going + minimum profit @1% already; but profit will be much higher!!!

Comments
- In my opinion, the only difficulties with AIMS are twofold:
> you have TO BE THERE when opportunity arise
> if you are late (opportunity/perfect set-up is just gone), REFRAIN from chasing the trade..just wait for next opportunity
- The most amazing thing is that if you get the PERFECT SET-UP, you have absolutely NO DOUBT, no hesitation to pull the trigger...In other word "you know exactly what you are doing, you know why you pull the trigger"...
- I'm sure that one day even with the perfect set-up price could go the other way...And this is the marvel of AIMS = not a problem, SL is very small + you can quit upon RED LINE cross...
- I started to look into my pairs EJ UJ in particular, and noticed that moves occur pretty early in the morning...Then need to wake up earlier to catch them :) :) :) ...which leaves me plenty of time afterwards...
