To Sam!
We missed it but some one else got it. This is trading. If we all could trade alike, exactly alike, there will be no market. here is a picture of a trade taken by some one so dear to me! Exit was influenced from TZ1

Re: The SEED
The Seed: it requires patience, waiting for that perfect seed is very hard but very rewarding. I repeat
"To be successful in life be prepared to do the simple things that other find very hard to to do."
Similar trade I have is running on EU and just had a good push to the down side after FOMC minutes. SL Required was 10 Max with AIMS level trail that allows locking 40pips. Guys, if you find M1 or M5 difficult or fast, H1 is definitely the way to go. You'll hardly trade during the week still 5% a week is easy peasy.

Re: The SEED
This seed stuff really is great. I don't know that I'll let it replace my screen watching at Frankfurt/London open time, but it'll really help me manage my at time awkward time zone more efficiently, and hopefully those setups around midday UK time will become tradeable for me. Keep the seeds coming!!!

Re: The SEED
Hi everyone,
I’ll preface this just by saying that these are only some initial thoughts, but I’m very interested to hear people’s ideas about this before I dive headfirst into trying to work my way around an indicator. So here we go….
Firstly, let me say that the more I think about trading seeds the more this idea keeps coming to mind, so I’ll do my best to explain it. We know that a seed is a great way of identifying a period of consolidation within a trend, and we can have a small stop loss, trade the lower timeframes with the higher timeframe trend, reduce screen time, etc etc, it’s all been written here a thousand times before. But what keeps coming back to me is the requirement that the period of lower timeframe consolidation must always fit perfectly into the timeframe on which we are looking for the seed. For example, if we have 20 candles of an M1 chart showing a period of consolidation within an overall higher timeframe trend (perfect setup!), but it happens that those 20 M1 candles are the last 10 candles and then the first 10 candles of 2 consecutive M15 candles, then we don’t have a inside bar (a seed) even though we undoubtedly have all the hallmarks of exactly what we are looking for on the lower timeframe. Instead we just have 2 normal looking trending M15 candles and the sideways action of the M1 chart is lost within their range. The two following pictures depict this situation, where M15 hasn’t quite given The Seed (the first one is close!), but M1 has a lovely period of consolidation and a nice entry opportunity. So basically, I’m asking for people’s opinions on the idea of a “rolling seed” indicator, that rather than looking for an inside bar on M15, the indicator would instead check the range of the last 15 or so M1 candles and return a result if that range is deemed to be tight (I still have to work out all the intricacies). This may further be filtered by ensuring the position of this period of consolidation is correct with reference to the higher timeframe trend. Has anyone had a go at this, thought of trying to have a go at this, decided this doesn’t work etc.? Immy? Steve?
In essence, I’m hoping that an indicator like this “rolling seed” will maintain all of the benefits of searching for and trading seeds, but with the added advantage of not missing seeds (periods of consolidation within an overall trend) that are lost when the sideways movement on M1 doesn’t fit perfectly into an M15 inside bar. I apologise if this has been discussed before, or it may be that the 'AIMS Setup 1 Advanced' indicator strives to achieve this?
Anyway, I’m very interested to give this some thought and see what we can get going, thanks in advance!
