Fran I also waited for the setup during nfp but finally didnt take it.....
Even when we got a perfect setup it still does not mean it will be a winner. No one can know what will happen with the price so i guess this time just didnt work out. next (NFP ) ;)
All I need is Aims. Just love it !

As usual I was on NFP yesterday Friday 12/6.
- Excellent US NFP
- Excellent US unemployment rate
The day before excellent US ADP non farm employment change

So I was on EU.
- First dropping sharply...P E R F E C T!!!
- Then retracing, down to more than FIB 61%
-----> I placed my entry @61% FIB, SHORT indeed!!!
- Price came nicely down
-..........BUT very quickly reversed to UP...Stopped out

Immy, Friends, any sensible explanation to this price behavior please??? :D :D :D ...

When you ask such a question it tells me what you expect. There is only one explanation for this behaviour. First they sold euro's then they bought it. Price went down at first and then started going up. There are millions of minds out there and what we see is the beautiful fractal geometric scenery painted in colour! Just go with the flow.... all the best....
Thx very much for your wise comments Immy!!! Much appreciated!!!

December 12, day trade

- Good set-up on UCAD:
---> > analyze on H4 = price could be in wave4 retracement
> so await price to arrive in wave4 target zone, appearance of FRUIT(s), and EW changing momentum
> when all the above occur, dropped down to M15 to find a good AIMS set-up

H4 and M15 charts below
Strategy thereafter is fully AIMS = enter 2 x 1%, exit half @ 1:1 etc etc etc.

- I'm still looking after EU going SOUTH-there is currently a reversal, but I'm waiting for better signs...And should it go NORTH in an impulsive way then I'll definitely follow!!!
- It is very simple to fall back in "old bad habits"...Every day is a kind of fight, making sure you did things right, even though you are profitable -or should I say SPECIALLY if you are profitable = success can drive you to blindness!
- Honestly I lost my good habit of reviewing my trades...Now I'm back to the basics :) :) :)

- I will NEVER forget AIMS Team. My trading changed beginning of July by learning and applying AIMS strategy - or should I say WAY OF LIFE, since this is not just about trading!!!
- I added EW to my arsenal -I "need" to have a "grounded guess" on where the price could go. I never trade upon guess, I use EW just to understand better where price is/could go next...Then I wait to SEE an AIMS set-up to enter a trade
- Wish you all PEACEFULL CHRISTMAS, and NEWYEAR 2014 FULL OF HAPPINESS!!

Congratulations on a great first 6 months in AIMS - I love your trading style and you've described the key to it's success in your last post...

"I use EW just to understand better where price is/could go next...Then I wait to SEE an AIMS set-up to enter a trade"

... this is a brilliant way of managing your entries. An educated assessment of the market based on EW, and an objective entry mechanism based on the classic AIMS setups. Just perfect! As I heard a trader describe it once, you get an overall feeling or assessment of market direction, and you wait until your indicators align to give you an entry within the bigger picture - and one can't create an entry without the other. Very nice.

All the best for the new year!

Thx very much Dave, much appreciated!!!

To finish up 2013 just sharing this analysis of UCHF weekly chart -if this proves to be TRUE, big move up could be expected-

Again want to INSIST = DO NOT TRADE ON GUESS, even if they are grounded. WAIT CONFIRMATION OF YOUR GUESS = FIND THE ADHOC AIMS ENTRY. IF YOU DO NOT FIND THE ENTRY, THEN YOUR GUESS IS JUST WRONG!!!

Once more happy Chrismas all!! See you all next year!!!

I think USDCHF has been oversold, and is due a turn around. On D1 I notice we've now had 5 days of ascendancy on the AO histogram.
It has also had 4 days above the aims S&R box and above the green line of the gator.

However I don't have the patience to trade W1 or D1

I'll stay away until Friday, but may trade a bit over the holiday, Immy and I have previously found the period to be profitable. So long as something moves.......

:)
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth[/center]

Jan 24 - Perfect combination of EW and AIMS on UJ

- UJ H4 = price ready to enter wave (c). Note this is also an ned of a penant
- so drop down to M15 to capture a good AIMS entry
- H4 and M15 charts below
