I admire your brutal honesty Nikita. We've all been there and these times are best overcome with the support and empathy of people that understand what you're going through - AIMSters!
My first advice is to take your money out of the game. Go back to trading 0.02 lots or even demo if you'd prefer and completely remove the emotion that comes with money. Remove any financial goals you've set for yourself and relieve the pressure of feeling as though you're missing your targets.
Beyond this however, there's nothing to do but to stick with us and remain dedicated to the system. Keep posting your trades and studying charts and tattoo the perfect setups on your brain. And if you're in doubt there's 1000 pictures of perfect setups buried in this forum.
Stay positive, remove the fear of losing, trust the system! AIMS provides the framework for a fantastic trading system, but the AIMS community is the foundation for success!
Now, I choose to make a profit in trading.

And i m really happy that my post helped to anyone.

"AIMS provides the framework for a fantastic trading system, but the AIMS community is the foundation for success!" It may be a last sentece of the setup book!

Thanks a lot for your support!

Today i couldnt find a proper m1/m5 EU setup, so i had a Gold fruit. According to the rule: that if one fruit didnt work out - next one will. But here is an exeption. Just next.

IN most cases it is true, however, when the entire dominant trend is Up and you're try to go against it then surely there are exceptions. Gold is in a strong uptrend however trying to short it would at some time in the near future, be a good idea. I am meanwhile long from the 20th and the 21st with SL below aims. 1330.60

moreover, at the risk being a tad intrusive or harsh, i'd like to add that you're not supposed to take trades because you could not find a setup on a certain time frame. Just stick to ONE strategy. I'll repeat here, Karen the super trader trades only S&P during the entire year of 2013 and traded only options and managed over 50 million that is a million a week profits for her and her clients. Only S&p and a bit of Nasdaq but mostly S&P. Why would she sit there and put all of her 200 million dollars (hers and her clients) into S&P using a very high risk strategy? Because The Market only has one structure and she has learned how to lay a brick and she simply lays them using the same technique over and over and again why/ because it works. If it ain't broke don't ____________?????

all the best

EU week observation

Unread post by Nikita »

Hello everyone.
This week was a little bit busy so i have no trade.
But i decided to calculate is it profitable to trade obly EU m1/m5.
It s my 1st observation. I highlited only HPS which i would take. - Results i would managed.
I m sure that many of AIMSters could squeeze market out and take more pips from the same setups, but here is my vision:

Monday (24.02)
2401.png
Boxes disappeared, but according to me this HPS is worth 30pips with trailing AIMS.
24002.png
The same situation with boxes, setup would bring 20pips.

Tuesday (25.02)
NO trades for me.

Wednesday (26.02)
This setup was the bust this week. It could bring 63 pips!
26.302.png
Thursday (27.02)
Breaks of m1/m5 box. 32 pips!
27.02 1.png
Beautiful 20 pips fall.
27.02 2.png
Total for the week: 167 pips within a week.

I didnt show a Friday, cause we are still here!

Hello everyone.
It s been long time since i post my trades. Due to my manipulation with MM and my own rules, i could reduce my losses. Unfortunately, i m still working on my winners :D
So, here is my small innovation.
According to my observations, if w3 was a spike, w5 pretty often stay within the spike. So i set TP at 5 pips for such trades.
Here is pre LO trade.

I think such strategy will help me obtain a consistency.
