Just want to let you know how much I appreciate your efforts in posting all your setups and potential setups. Your trading style is very unique. I like it and love to read your posts. Please continue your good work. I just joined AIM 2 months ago and just about complete my study of the whole AIM's in and out system. I will post my daily routine and journal as soon as I define my time frame preference. My bias is already lean toward the 4hr and 1hr 15 min chart. Since I have been looking at it for six years mainly on 4hr and 1hr. It took you 3 years to find your home at AIM where as it took me twice as long. At last, I finally home!! Thank you again.
Hi Thomas,

March 16, close EU trade with substantial profit...

- After 2 days of "hesitation", price just went NORTH.
Post analysis = What I thought was correction wave A-B-C was "just" correction X in form of a triangle. So this thrust UP is just wave A of last wave A-B-C correction.
---> I exited EU LONG trade, with quite good profit!
Now aiming at a good retracement, and planning to jump into last wave C (hopefully)

March 6, exit all EU trades

-Price has stopped moving...
- Since I'm not reasonably sure where it is actually, I decided to exit all trades, @6:1 profit!!!
- ...But keep a close eye, since best trade will be the trend reversal, which again should happen "soon"...

Friday 7, NFP trades

- I prepared 4 pairs, 2 in case NFP is good for $, and 2 in case NFP is bad for $
What do I mean by "prepare" = regarding EW wave counts, where price is
---> If NFP is good, the 2 pairs are:
UJ = price in wave 3 of correction wave C. So LONG
UCAD = price in wave 5. So LONG as well
---> If NFP is bad, the 2 pairs are:
AU = price in wave 3 on Daily. So SHORT
GU = price in final w5 push on Daily. So LONG

- NFP is GOOD for $ ---> enter trades on UCAD and UJ

A bit about Larger degree 1-2

Unread post by immy »

Here is an example of larger degree 1-2. Often when what we "thought" was wave 3 is followed by a wave 4, and it retraces more than 50% i.e. between 62% upto 100% of wave 3, it often is an indication that wave 3 might follow and what we Though was wave 3 might become wave 1. The most important thing about eWave is to "formulate expectations" trust them, and when proven incorrect, quickly erase those expectations and replace them with new ones. This is the psychologically harder thing to do.

Thx so much Immy for your ongoing clarifications! Fully agree on your point here:
- formulate expectations
- trust them
- ...until they proove to be wrong...
- then rework expectations

The HUGE difficulty in my opinion is "seeing" the patterns while they unfold, without any guess, just see the pattern while they unfold.
