The Fourth Entry Technique

Unread post by immy »

WE have been using this for quite a while and Grant does not really like it, but he approves it as its approved by someone higher than him, and no thats not me, because I'm not higher infact very low than him. (hug) 8-}

The Red Line Break.

It used to be my favourite entry technique for getting into possible wave 5 or for reversals until the fruit. But it can still be used as a. initial entry and b. add on to Fruit trades.

An Entry is made using Break of AIMS level above or below the red line. All other rules apply. Needs a bit of experience hence posting it here.

Could you please highlight why this seed doesnt work out?
I checked all rules: AO cross, next to Mouth, fresh open of mouth.

Hi

Problem 1. Out of Hours. (seeds must be traded within high volatility periods i.e. Frankfurt Open till London Close. (More chances of breakouts)
Problem 2. Gator is not open and trend is not confirmed on the current time frame.

apart from the above, you might see such setups during london sessions as well and some may work and other may not. the fact of the matter is the breakout did not work. And that is why we have Stop Losses. NEXT

ps: No one can ever explain to you WHY this breakout worked and why the other did not happen. If they could they must have access to each and every trader and computer of the world and still may not find the exact reason. But there is a clear answer. It works 60% of the time.

Here is a Seed Trade on EU. thought i'll bump this thread a bit with this nice trade. ITs a Free trade + .5% lets see where it takes us. Attempted wave 5. I took an m1 trade from the same level, which has already materialized into a fine 1:2 trade a couple of hrs ago

Not a Seed Trade

Unread post by immy »

I want to share this picture of a trade on Gold. I got my analysis right but that's not enough. You can get the entry right but thats only 5 or 10% of trading. Its all about exits, its all about money and risk management. I chose a wrong spot for my Stop loss and hence I missed out on a 1:3 profit opportunity. The fact that it was not a proper trend following setup may have played its part and helped me lose discipline.

1-5 waves were compelted and it was time for reversal. I got in on break of AIMS though it appears as if may have used a seed which was not fully out of gator and eWave was not yet red but it was close to ZL. As it was a reversal setup I was not fully in line with my setup, I lost confidence and moved SL closer instead of putting it on AIMS level above. . What a mis-managed great setup.

The Power of SEE 1:5 Trade

Unread post by immy »

Today was a good day on EU M1 but I did not really catch the small moves but did pay rent here and there. an overal negative day on EU M1.

But meanwhile I was playing UJ since last night on H1.

I Went short Last night, held on all night, market did not break down, instead reversed and broke above, Sam commented "nice break on UJ". I already had a Long PO by then, exactly at the SL level of the short trade. It closed the short for 1% loss and long trage was triggered with 25 pips SL. Later there was a beautiful SEED trade. I took with 1% risk based on only 9pips. Closed both entries on a Fruit signal banking a total of 6% Minue 1% then plus 2 and plus 5. A great friday.
