Hi Grant
I have noticed in your screen shots that You use some ATR based indicator i.e THV ATR(14)X2 like this .
Kindly educate us about its role in your trades and how do you put this in use ?

Hi everyone,

Frustrating for me today, Max is still ill and so have been playing nurse again, which means limited chart time.

That being said was still able to make some pips on these trades

1. -4
2. -2
3. +12
4. +10

Total +16 (1.23%)

Trade records and pics below

Cheers

Evening everyone,

I have to apologise to all of you and thank Bobby F.

He has noticed a flaw in the flow chart, there was no way of moving from saying no to set up 1 to then go and look for a set up 2.. Thanks Bobby

So attached here and in post 1 is a revised flow chart which has the dot and purple line questions switched round and a route to set up 2 if set up 1 fails.

Writing down you strategy rules isnt as easy as it looks... sigh

Again apologies to all of you that have downloaded the original flawed version.

cheers

NO need to apologise big man. You have done no mistake and there was no flaw. In fact we are all thankful to you for sharing your flow chart. Its a great tool. In fact its a great strategy that any one can apply and learn to apply within minutes. I'm already up over 8% using this in 5 days of trading. And really I missed 3 trades since yesterday otherwise you're talking over 10%. But what you have revised is also very good. I like it and fully recommend it! Thank You Guru!

Evening

NO trades today for me, typical as i was off and could have some chart time... sigh...

During London am the m5 AIMS level always seemed to close and then after the red news and speeches at lunchtime price just never set up during either the rally or the drop...

hey ho tomorrow is another day...

cheers

Hi Grant

So....

If we move down the flow chart and assume the alligator is awake, so that we're moving down the right hand side... the next question is "Is there a fresh AIMS level after the dot?"

Are we therefore assuming that if the alligator is awake, then the dot alert that has just happened must have moved price outside the current AIMS box?

Is it not possible that the alligator is awake and the candle of the dot alert does not move outside the current AIMS box? So that we wouldn't need to wait for a fresh AIMS level...?

Bobby,

to answer your points...

i never assume, i trade what i see....

the other natural flaw with the flow chart is i cant write down a rule for every scenario... if i did then it would be a book rather than a cheat sheet...

what i set out to achieve was to help newer less experienced traders with 2 simple high probability stress free set ups...

however to answer your questions, yes "usually but not always" price will leave the current aims box if the alli is awake

and yes the alli can be awake and the dot candle inside aims, if this happens then "usually but not always" we are in the middle of a strong move and the AO will be away from the 0 line and old (stale) thus ruling out a trade.

hope this helps

cheers
