Yep, a good experience! I hope we have more such experience. trading m1 again and again same pattern varied results! but with an overall positive aggregate!

Let me share yet another approach....entry above M5 AIMS level as the difference between M1 and M5 AIMS levels was less than 5 pips.

Some action pre-LO on GU, but I missed a few other opportunities on EJ, UJ and especially DAX, oh well.

Hoping someone can help me out... There was an EA posted here a while ago that (I think) would automatically trail a stop loss behind fractals. Anyone know where I might find this?
Thanks :-BD

I am not sure which one you are talking about but I wrote one a couple of weeks ago and have attached it to this post. I run a slightly different version to this one that uses magic numbers to select the right order so I have taken those changes out and uploaded the basic version. You basically add it to a chart and change how many pips you want to add to the upper fractal and how many to the lower one in the parameters. It will only change the SL for the same currency pair as the chart is loaded, so if you trade 6 pairs you will need to add it to 6 charts. You can of course change the code so it doesn't do this!

I have included the source in case you want to tweak it, but I would test it as my version is slightly different to this!

Cheers.

No problem. Just to make you aware that it will change the SL for all open orders of the currency pair you are running it on, so if you have an hourly trade and an M1 trade you may not want to use it!!! It is a very basic EA so there is room for improvement. :)

Also, if you want to use Grant's method of trailing then you could run it on the M1 chart until you are BE, then change the chart to M5 so it trails M5 Aims, then change it to M1 when you see an M5 BDC etc! :)

Trades from the last couple days..... I don't love the first UJ entry but happy with the consistency my other entries are showing.
