Cool Tip

Unread post by immy »

A tip about bid ask lines and there use in order to check volatility

The Bid ask Lines below, show a wide space between them relative to the charts range.

Image

Below the Dax chart shows that the spread is tighter relative to the range of the market. So we have edge here. Above most of the "pipping space" is taken by the broker. Edge is not present.

Image

We need to use these simple techniques to zoom in and zoom out into correct zoom level. Below EJ is zoomed in too much. how do you tell? yes, the two lines.

Image

EJ Zoomed out. The bid ask difference , spread is now "relatively" smaller compared to the range of the waves on m15. so Spread is proportionally better here.

Pictures of the Rents this week

Unread post by immy »

I thought I'll share some of rent trades that I missed out this week.

There was a post on UJ 3 entries that did not really do good. I was expecting something more dramatic to downside but i was partially not right. haha

I love this sort of setup for an M1 entry, when the M5 box pattern makes its first break short, combined with eWave momentum.

DAX

Unread post by immy »

As discussed with Dave the other day, I decided to Look at DAX side by side EU m1. Its been moving well and GKFX has good spread for it. Yes 1pip only. which is very good as compared to its m1 waves. On eu the average m1 waves have fallen way below the usual 20 pip. But EU is still not that bad. Today a good score, a very good score on DAX.

Below a picture of DAX when I spotted the potential setup.

Image

later it dropped a bit further and gave a fruit entry. I was so sure about it, I went and took the fruit long. and later added on S2. then simply trailed my way up with commentary of stop loss update step by step in the chatroom.

Image

Image

AIMS Level trail would have brought nearly the same result. 88 pips . Darren's fractal trail EA could have managed this for you easily. hmmmm

And the Chat session..

Good Morning!

A lovely scenario on EU Today. Sometimes, life is easy. A setup that requires 3 pips SL, oh thank you dear market. and breakout was timed with h1 aims levels too. even better. picture below.

Daxy Daxy Daxy

Unread post by immy »

Daxy take me to heaven! Thanks Dave one more time. Thanks Ray for trading it last year. I was paying attention. I've completed almost a decade worth of research on it. And to no surprise, despite several different (altered) strategies the one that wins in the end is M5/M1 strategy. So another fine day on DAX
