DAX is best at Europe and London Open, but it gets a little second wind at New York open too, and then tends to follow Wall St. Some brokers will allow 24hr trading of DAX futures, but at the very least stick to the hours that the Frankfurt Exchange is open. Straight from Wikipedia:
"Automatic Xetra trading runs from 09:00 to 17:30 with closing auction from 17:30-17:35, floor brokers' trading times are from 8:00 to 20:00. In November 2003, Late/Early DAX was introduced running from 08:00 to 09:00 pre market and 17:45-20:01 during after hours and in 2006 X-DAX was introduced running from 08:00-09:01 and 17:45-22:00 (in line with Asia and US trading hours)."

How to Decide if a Pair is Worth Trading on M1.
How to Decide if a Pair is Worth Trading on M1.
Factor 1. Volatility and Momentum
Factor 2. Average Daily Range should be above 80+ pips(average of High of the Day Less Low of The day, of the last x number of days)
Factor 3. Spread as a proportion of the Daily Range. e..g if you have 1 pips Spread, and 100 ADR, spread takes 1% of the range plus 2 pips buffer (one above one below) making it 3 %. now if you're trading m1, and average wave is less than 10 pips, it would mean, 30% of profit will be eaten by spread and buffer.
Factor 4. As below. (Average pips per candle)
Well Done Nikita, this was great m1 trade. Everything is great with it.
Here is what's wrong with it in general. Look at m1 chart and count the candles. From dot to dot we have 45 candles. Now count the distance in pips. thats 17 pips gain. now divide 17pips by 45 candles = 0.38 pips per candle. and then divide 45 / 15 = 2.64 it too 2.64 candles to move 1 pip. If you check some charts when GU and EU had 100+ Daily Average you'd see this number rise to 2-3 pips per candle. Thats what we are after, Infact i need to code an indicator about it. so how about it Steve?

How to Minimise Risk and Increase Profit Factor
Here I'd like to show the power of Double AIMS and how Dax respects the levels so nicely unlike EU these days. (but eu will come back soon i'm sure about it)
Immy: hitting the TZ1, unfinished business aye 14:50
Immy: this break only needed 3 pips SL if you knew what i know. will talk about it later. 14:52
Immy: its so reliable when it comes to AIMS level that if it breaks a level by 1 pip (during retest) you can be sure it aint going anywhere. 14:53
So I put a PO above Double AIMS m1/M5 levls marked with maroon line. As soon as it was triggered I put my SL at -3 , that is 1 pip below AIMS. and as soon as the aims level was broken SL was at Entry level. So it was a 3 pips Risk, converted t ono risk in 4 mint and 6th min I was out with 3:13 RR Profit Factor of 4.33. What an amazing figure.
