A Daxy Trade
A Dax M5/M1 Setup. Gator on M5 Open to downside, freshly, eWave fresh cross down, M1 showing back to purple move and then sets up. Red Dot, Gator is sleeping, Entry AIMS Level is close to Gator and dot candle and other side of aims, that means risk is low. I started it with only a 4 pip SL. Target was FO open level or back to purple on m5.

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Re: Immy's Journal - Setup 1, Setup 2 and some other stuff!
Nothing yesterday just watched. But today, was tempted to go long right at LO but did not. Missed a rent as well as a 60 pip move up. Oh well next. Then M5 chart produced a pattern that I have been watching for donkey years now.
Check the comment in the chatroom below

and Dax M5/M1 chart

Aftermath: what we thought was a C was not a c but rather a new 3. So what we thought was wave a was 1 and what we thought was wave b was actually wave 2 up. This is the beauty of this. All we have to do is make sure we enter setups that require very low number of pips to find out.

sorry for asking...How do you trade DAX? Is it similar to currency pairs, e.g.lot size, spread etc.?
Thx/KR

Re: A Daxy Trade
Fran, thank you for your question mate. Fortunately for us in the uk we can choose to open Spread Betting accounts. And GKFX provides good service and that on MT4. Tehre are loads of markets to choose, quite good selection of stocks and commodites and nearly all forex pairs. And whats the best is you can bet per point from as low is 10p a point. So its simple for us, bet if your account is 10K all you need is bet $10 per pip/point if risking one percent and using 10 pips/points as SL. For other brokers such as those that offer CFD's on MT4, it vary from broker to broker. I hope this helps.francisrama wrote:Hi Immy, immy wrote:A Dax M5/M1 Setup. The Famous Pattern.
SL 7 Pips TP Just below TZ at 1R:4R (Risk Reward)
Lost 1%. Could have been 4% growth. Oh well NEXT

Re: Immy's Journal - Setup 1, Setup 2 and some other stuff!
its really simple but you gotta wait and have patience and discipline.... Today i was getting bored and impatient meaning I was not in the now... and that may have lead to a mistake. (not really mistake though)
Dax Fruit entry into possible wave 5 down and add on entry using S1. followed by result.

The end.

H1 Swissy and AU

AU YD short to catch wave 5 down. very early entry based on Seeds and aims break and pullback to purple. clear abc (well at least at that time in my mind)
I thought I'll let it run all night , it will drop like crazy and I'll show off in the am, but that did not happen. how sad?
