Re: Daily Wave Analysis
Some hindsight analysis on GU.

M15 chart shows 1-5 sequence of Wave 5 of h1

IN the chart below which is m15, you see Wave 1 to Wave 5. This sequence is actually the breakdown of the Wave 5 as shown on h1 above.

Now in the next picture you'll see on m5 chart, how Today's wave was a nice wave 1 - wave 5 sequence on M5.

Re: Daily Wave Analysis
fxsam wrote:Thanks immy for your analysis. We should often use this thread for daily wave analysis. Btw what you mentioned w5 on GU H1 is now converted to W3 after GBP news. Interesting.
YES, As you know, we call NEWS Chaos Influx Points. News and Certain events are trend and direction setters and changers. they are like milestones where we check our distances and move on from that point. So news on GU changed the count. Which now means the last leg wave 5, is not wave 3. and more opportunities to go long are. here. Clearly, the wave 3 before was Wave 1 followed by 2. Look at daily cahrt and you should nod your head...

Which Pairs am I watching
A good question that lead to some answers
Mike M: Which pairs are you trading Immy? 12:15
Immy: check the to top of the screen 12:16
Immy: well really only the first 6. and dax. and gold. 12:17
Immy: lets call it 8. 12:17
Mike M: So your hourly / M15 too? 12:18
Immy: no m15 only for famous 12:18
Immy: but i can trade Seeds some times. that will cover m5 time frame. 12:18
Immy: its like a whole gradual move to h1 time frame. integrated everthing into it. 12:19
Mike M: So really you have 8 charts up on the 15 M and glance at the hourly chart at the beging of the session? 12:20
Immy: no i have 8 pairs on h1 and may drop and look at m15 if I feel like. 12:20
Mike M: Great, thanks Immy!! 12:22
Immy: e.g. i though EU was abc to upside. so I'll drop to m15 m5 to check and count the waves using eWave. 12:23
Immy: and if evidence is found, i can then look for a setup to take advantage of the analysis. 12:23
Immy: so if I watned and understood is well enoug hadn believed in it, earlier today, I'd have taken Fruit short on EU and i'll be jumping like a whatever... that jumps ... rejoicing... but i failed. .. frown 12:24
Immy: same can be said about Swissy. 12:25
Immy: knew after a wvave 3 up on swissy, it need a pullback. and wave 4 normally pulls back between 38 to 50% .. and within wave 4, you ahve abc's ... so you can use fib ret on h1, and at the same time check the wave count on lower time frame and in this way build confidence and tkae High probability setups. 12:26
Immy: this swissy pulled back exactly 50% and EU 38% and then they blasted in to possibilty wave 5's. 12:26
Immy: so a fruit right at the 50% fib retracement and right at the bottom of a possible abc, and right at the peak of 1-5 wave completed on m15. This is Confluence. this is what you call Higher Probability Setups. 12:28
Mike M: I guess I need a lot more screen time as Iam nowhere near good enough to do that. I will continue on, your input is invaluable! 12:28
Immy: oh no, simply focus on S1's and understand the simple logic of trading along side eWave. peak 1 the biggest = 3, followed by cross of ZL opposite colour = wave 4, followed by another peak as before but this time diverging = wave 5. thats it. keep watching this over and over and you'll know what to do later
Pictures relating to discussion aboe

NOw see in the picture below chart on H1, showing the abc down that brought it down to touch 50%.

Now the M15 chart below where the abc, shown on H1 are viewed as wave 3 and 5 down. Completing correction and followed by explosive impulse move upwards.
