This is where I record, my trades taken on the 4HR timeframe. Starting today with the AUD/NZD short trade.

SL @ 1.0883 ( whew !!! a whopping 70 pips )

TP1 @ 1.0760 ( at this point, will take half off the table and remaining to BE )
TP2 @ 1.0660

Seems like, the trade is progressing well, though I am weary of the divergence developing on the 1 HR. Besides the 4HR, might be entering wave 4. In this case, I would like to short at the top of wave 4 again.

right now, I took profit for 3/4rth of the position and the remaining 1/4 is running for 1.0750

Sanju i am just wondering how do you manage trades on higher time frames ? Looks like you are long term trader. What's your exit ? Do you follow signal for exit ? and Do you tight your SL to survive during news spike ?

Hi Sam,

I do a combination of everything. It's very hard to trade long term in these choppy markets when every word of a central banker, takes the pair 100 pips UP and then 100 pips down.

Unfortunately, for the AUDNZD, I got out too early. But, let me try to narrate the next 4HR trade that I took, today, by following up closely on every stage.

GBP/NZD short

This pair first caught my attention on the 4HR. I am trying to get into the 5th wave down after that nice 3rd wave and then, now it looks like we are on the peak of 4rth wave UP.

Beside, the 4HR Aims box, just broke to the downside. I will be also watching the pair on the Daily and the 1HR for perspective

TP1 = 1.9380 ( 157 pips )
TP2 = 1.9270 ( 267 pips )
TP3 = 1.9100 ( 437 pips )

Not much movement here, apart from the significant 4HR bearish pin which has printed nicely. Yum, that looks tasty. Now only the move down remains to be seen.
