Oh yes, I have also now changed my setup (screen) a little bit. Into the future, the m1 AND m5 will be taken. With that in mind, the extra ma on m1 wasn't needed, so I reverted back to the purple line which will also be more consistent with many others here.

Here is the location of it Nikita. I have made a small change or two to it, but just put in your acct balance in the grey box and then follow the questions with Yes, No and the actual numbers for last cross of A0 and S/L pips and it will tell you whether it is a valid trade or not.

Hope it helps

No trades today, however, there was one valid setup while I was at work (of course there was).

It passed all the usual criteria, of which I was told today that two of my criteria is already analysed AIMS Entry Alert V5.1 - No real need to consider if the Dot Candle is inside AIMS or if the trade is away from the purple. They are already coded in - Thanks for the advise there Immy :)

Anyway, Gator was sleeping, A0 was close to zero, 6 Candles since A0 cross and S/L would be 13.5 Pips - meaning an entry.

Although the trade did not take off and make huge gains, it did make a modest 0.67% to 1% risk, which would have erased my last two rents.

Keep picking up little traces of gold like this and you will get the occasional Gold Strike. I recall about a month ago I posted n one I saw that would have netted 7% on 1% risk. Lesson being that so long as you are taking the trades regularly, you will tread water nicely with the average trades and then hit one out of the park every now and then, making for a very successful method so long as you have your money management and trade management up to scratch.

Re-load and be ready for tomorrow :)

Another day done. Good and late basically for the two possible entries for "Classic S1" on DAX.

Firstly, we had a great little breakout 2hrs after London Open. All rules qualified (Gator sleeping, A0 close to 0, 9 candles since last A0 cross, 6 pip stop). Had I have been here and not travelling home from work, that 6 pip stop would have netted a nice 9.7 pips return before closing on the sell candle.

Then, just on NY open, a potential setup occured. I went through the rules and they filtered this out, so I didn't enter. Everything was good, but there were 29 candles since last A0. I have programmed the spreadsheet to invalidate past 24 candles. Lucky it was filtered as the pullback would have shut the trade down at a rare full risk Stop and 1% loss. Feel good that it almost made all the conditions, but I didn't take it because one failed the test (pat on back).

NFP today brought about some big moves, but no actual S1 setups. Will be quieter tomorrow with a US holiday (Independence Day)

So, a no trade day, but rejected one and missed a valid one that would have brought nice profit. Happy with that still.

This week may see missed LO entries as my son is with me this week (School Holidays), but I will be watching the NYO and Equities Open.

Two opportunities presented today from what I saw, both close together a little after NY Equities Open.

Trade 1 covered all the criteria and PO was placed, but trade got cancelled as per below

Trade 2, just 16 minutes later was possibly an even better setup with a closer period since last A0 cross. I was fixing up the chart above and didn't quite get the trade on in time. Luckily for me though, as the PO would have been taken and then close on a 2.4 Pip loss, -0.27:1 Reward:Risk

So in all, it turned into a day on the sidelines, but I am happy with that. No trades taken up, but ready to go again tomorrow.

Today's trading had a bit of movement in the DAX which was good, however I only took one trade in the NY session (not around for LO) and got a rent on it. It was a correct setup, gator was sleeping, Dot inside AIMS, trade Away from purple, A0 close to 0, 13 candles since cross of A0 and S/L 6.7 Pips, so i entered, as did everyone in the chat room. Chart attached.

It initially had a small profit, but then Stop was manually hit after the move up past the green line. Here is an issue I had that was corrected in the trading room. My Trade Management was to hold the S/L where it was until you were 10 pips in profit, then move the S/L to BE. This was taken from somewhere unknown to me now (I will find the reference), but it was NOT in accordance with Grant's Trade Management rules. I have changed my spreadsheet to include Grant's actual TM rules so I do not make that same mistake again. It cost me a few pips which is always very important when scalping breakouts on m1.
Lesson learned on that one and wont be repeated. My TM now aligns with Grants, where you move S/L tot he high/low of the trigger candle +/- 3 pips, etc as per my Trade Journal Spreadsheet as attached.

Back to consistent trading tomorrow :)

Not too much today. We had a couple of valid setups just after LO, one of which I missed and the other was a cancelled PO in the end. All satisfied my criteria, but didn't get the chance to use the updated trade management.
Wont worry about explaining them today as the charts and trade journal entries does it all.

Not overly pleased about missing the entry, but home life has a higher priority. Be back at it tomorrow :)

Hello again. A little bit of time since I have posted.
I will be honest and say that my trading trigger finger had gotten a bit shy and haven't traded in 20 days, but have watched the charts every day. It has been a confidence issue within myself and I hope that i am past that now. Immy has been invaluable in the chat room helping me with that issue and for others trading skills as well.

Anyway, a day with my son tonight, so only looked at the NY Equities. Looked to be a good long entry right on NYO today as well.

OK, one trade today, a rent. All looked good as per my spreadsheet, and still looks good in hindsight. Only thing was that it was 20 minutes before close for the day, which Immy brought our attention to. Will keep that in mind now as well. Attached is the chart, which was a 0.47% rent along with the spreadsheet.

Note, I have no issue at all with a rent. It is all part of the business of trading. A truly consistent trader trades his/her times consistently and takes every trade that qualifies for them with no emotion. That is where I (and us all) aim to get to.
