The 1st of August 2014

What an amazing day of trading on Dax. I don't know if most of the AIMSters are asleep or they just don't get it. In my books, everyone should be going crazy these days with daxy... oh well.. :-?

Immy, you're smart, successful and wealthy. With the utmost admiration, gratitude and respect, you must understand that the majority of us ARE struggling with Work,Health and Attitude issues and if we weren't we wouldn't be reading the forum anyway.

I'm sorry Kooky but I disagree with what you've said. For me, part of successfully trading the AIMS method is being actively involved in the forum and chatroom. I look after my health and and I maintain a positive attitude and I read the forum everyday. I've been around here for a few years now and I've seen people come and go, and those that are successful contribute to this learning space and enjoy the success that comes with learning a proven trading method. There are no short cuts to success. I still haven't seen you start a journal or post any of your trades. I don't want to sound like an asshole - I actually really want to see everyone here do well - but if you're just going to pop up every now and then with a complaint then you're not helping yourself or anyone on this forum. Start a journal. Post your trades. Get actively involved in the method and you will find success. If you're lost and having trouble go back and read every post of this thread and Grant's journal and you'll see that despite us talking about things in slightly different ways that all the trades are the same. The setup is the setup. Learn it and stick to it and you'll be fine.
Step 1: Start your journal now.
(I'm sorry for the rant mate, but you've got to help yourself first!)

Dave, I agree, and let me clarify a bit what a I meant.

Most traders find themselves busy t rading and taking a lot of silly trades when the markets are not moving, they are sideways and stuck within a tight range and when the markets start to move like last week they find themselves either unable to trade, they are doing something else or just watching the screen and unable to trade. I say this from experience. When trading rooms around the world are busy, its a sign that market is not really trending.
