Re: Three Session for Dax

Unread post by Michal »

immy wrote:Based on some raw research I can confidently share that we can break Dax into Three Good Sessions. First being the best followed by second and then 3rd.

Session 1. London Open 3 hrs. (8am to 11am UK)
Session 2. NYO (Banks Open 1.30pm UK) or NYSE Open (2.30pm UK) until 4.30pm UK
Session 3. 6pm uk (1pm NYSE) to the End.

The third session is great for UK guys who come after work and also good for US guys too.

cheers
th for that Immy i was just logging in to ask question what's the best time to trade Dax :) lovely stuff!

Bruno Sends some questions

Unread post by immy »

Bruno sent me an email with the following questions. As you know I cannot deal with individual emails I have therefore chosen to copy and paste his email and answer it inline. Immy's Answers in Bold inline

Hi Immy
Immy: Hi Bruno

I became premium member over a year ago. Back then I followed the Chat for a couple of weeks as good as I could with a Dayjob. This means I was not able to participate in the Chat during London Market hours. So I turned my back on AIMS. Back then it all was about Seed and Fruit in the chat. That was also a reason that turned me off because in the Setup manual there was nothing about Seed and Fruit.
Of course I went to the Forum and read about Seed and Fruit.
Immy: Bruno, there might have been more questions about Fruit and Seed but it was never All about that only. I cannot recall a time period where I did not trade M5/M1 on a set of pair/s. We moved to dax a few months ago before that it was Eur/Usd.

Well now I came back about a week ago just before you left for vacation.
To learn something last week I looked at the Chat in the evenings to gather some hints on how the day was traded by the group.

It was very interesting to review last Fridays chat. Where you logged in from your vacation. You wrote things that confirmed to me that not everyhone is on the same page regading aims.
Immy
: but hey, good start... now we will all be on the same page.

Immy: Well its hard to get everyone on the exact page when some are trading Fruits, other Seeds, some different time frames and pairs and currencies. We cannot make everyone do the same thing, not exactly the same, that will never happen imho. But yes we are on the same page. People have different personalities and they prefer things slightly differently that is what makes us all human. E.g. Darren, has no dots on his charts, Kyle was using Grants template and later changed it, Moty uses the normal template plus the AIMS S1 Alert ( previously called AIMS V6 and also called DA i.e Double Arrows). The missing blue line is nothing new, Grant never used the blue line. I decided that in the chatroom I shall call and follow only those trades and indeed trade only those trades that conform to the flow chart. And since flow chart was the invention of Grant I decided to bring my chart more in tune with the flow chart. We are on the same page and I've found that flow chart technique can be very beneficial in terms of teaching the setup to fellow aimsters. Tehre is a reference poitn taht we can all look at and correct the course accordingly. e.g. with my normal style not you , or even myself will be able to tell whether I should have taken a particulart setup 100% while backtesting. But with Flow chart, you can be 90% sure that a setup would or would not have been taken all other things remaining the same.

You mentioned that you will updating the book.
Immy
: Darren: I've taken the blue off and will be update in the book and all as well.

I would like very much if you would update the book and do a new video with how you trade Aims right now.Much appreciated if you do one. I think it would be of great help for everyone.

Immy: Such videos have already been made and more will be made as time permits. Its not an easy job making them damn videos. often I do a video and my voice is not recorded it happened to me 7 times in a row and i just don't have time. a 5 min video usually takes about 1hr to create edit and upload. I'm only human. I started a new version of the book in 2012 to upate the previous one, it still remains incompleted. Life is just too busy man.

Now I have one more question:
Last week Admin had posted this line: Admin: Swissy red dot h1 trade looking great now.
(after last Friday I know its your brother. :-))

Immy: If you're using the AIMS S1 Indicator you have to read the relavant post. belowhttp://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=841 in this post you are requested to watch two videos. 1 the 1hr webinar and then other the video specifically for How to Trade The DA's (the Aims S1 Alert). Once you have the DA alert the AIMS S1 alert on, you ahve a choice to make, you eitehr want to trade only the DA or only the Dots or only the single arrows or you want to make judgment calls and use any of them. The chart of Swissy says to you, that 2 higher timee frames suggest longs but that this current time frame is suggesting a short term, h1, short setup. it was up to you and your trading plan to decide whether you want to go against the trend of H4 and d1 and take a quick h1 short trade.

Attached is the Chart of that day he was refering to the last red Dot we can see. What confuses me in this Setup is that the double arrows are pointing in the opposit direction. So I wrote a PM to Peter ( he was in the Chat when Admin posted the line) in the Evening and send him this screenshot. And asked him about the Arrows. He said that he does not use them. The arrows are supposed to be version 6. Are they not the latest Alert version that we should be using?
Immy: The best way to ask questions is to start a journal in the forum here.

Maybe now you understand better why I would love to see you post a new video if possible.
Oh and regarding your brother, you mentioned he does Parttime trading and does not watch the charts all day. Well if he's doing great I would love to know more how he does it. Because I am in the same boat with a Dajob!
Immy: He trades dailies mostly thats why part time. He is a free man, with plenty of his dads money to play with he wont be bothered about engaging in chatrooms. A very lonely type of person. If you want to know what type of guy is he watch the movie "Boyhood". That guy even looks like him.

Thank you very much for your help Immy! And welcome back to europe.
Bruno

Immy: Thanks Bruno and thanks for your question and coming back to AIMS and I wish you good luck and hope to see you in the chatroom soon. If you dont have time, why not trade 4hrly charts or daily charts. You will be surprised how much easier it is to trade higher tiem frames and much more profitable. Using the Same V5.1 template and nothing else.

A Fantastic Learning/Teaching Experience this am in the Chat

Unread post by immy »

I don't know about you, but we had a good session in the chatroom today. A setup was there long enough so we could discuss it and trade it. The essence of AIMS Stress Free Trading Setups happened. A Clear open gator on m5 and price sets up for wave 5 on m1.

Check out this Chart. The waves are so well defined you can see not only abc but also abc within the b anad abc within the b again. AMAZING. and all that on M1 chart.

What could 0.3 Pip Mean at times?

Unread post by immy »

In the picture attached you'd see my lovely trade on UJ that got stopped out on a PC. Perhaps a bit of "fear based" stop loss move or something like that. Well nothing can be done now but we can learn from it and amuse ourselves or say "ouch" or "ahhhh" or "sigh" a bit... :-? B-) :( :D ~x(

both positions were taken based on a 15 pip SL @ 1% risk per position. That could have got me a total of 15% So far :)

Hey Edie, Immy added blue ball and star marks by hand in the image editing software, not by metatrader indicator. The eWaves/AO is the indicator for counting elliot waves.

Have fun!

Dear Sir Immy & dear Tomi!

TX for the info. I have just found new big ECN broker with no fees & no commission yesterday : DMM Fx, said it's the 2nd biggest broker in the world by volume...this makes me feel so relieved & boost my spirit up to continue learning trading forex with AIMS. By the way, i have few questions for you, gentlemen:

1. Are there any materials in 2011-2012 released: "AIMS The Setup eBook" that probably really obsolete/unusable for current trading days & replaced by new materials? I might save my study time on that very precious book if there're any..

2. Recently this blog has been showing DAX trading...is DAX more profitable & easier to trade than forex for these days?

That's for now.
Long Live AIMS!
