Fri. Oct. 17, 2014

Screen time 9:00-13:30 (GMT+1+DS), M5/M15 DAX, M15 EURUSD.

The last days I fetl a little bit stressed with fruits on M1 DAX. Due to this and on recommendation of Sam and Moty, I swichted DAX to M5/M15 and added EU M15. It actually was less stressfull but the result wasn't very satisfying.

Today's Result:
- 20 - 22 + 33 = - 9 Pips

Result of the last 4 weeks since I rejoined AIMS forum and strategy:

Week 1 (22.-26.9), 8 hrs trading: +13 Pips / + 1,3%
Week 2 (29.9.-3.10.) 8 hrs trading: +58 Pips / + 5,8%
Week 3 (6.-10.10) 12 hrs trading: +133 Pips / + 5,6%
Week 4 (13.-17.10.) 16 hrs trading: +43 Pips / + 4,5%
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result (22.9.-17.10.) 44 hrs trading: +247 Pips / +17,2%

Week 1 and 2 were only S1/S2 on M1/M5 DAX weeks.
Week 3 the first 2 days, I only took S1/S2s, the third and fourth S1/S2 and Fruit trades and on the last day I only took fruit trades.
The fourth week was fruit week. Only on first day I took fruits as well as S1/S2.

I have to analyze my trading of the last 4 weeks and plan my further strategy, wether to stick on DAX M1/M5 S1/S2/fruit or change to higher TFs or return to S1/S2 alone.
I am very happy with the results by itself but I have lost confidence a bit in the last 1 1/2 weeks since I started trading fruits. I need to find my confidence again.

Tue. Oct. 21, 2014

Screen time 9:00-11:00, 12:00-13:00 and 18:00-19:00 (GMT+1+DS)
M1/M5 DAX from LO, M15 EURUSD at FO.

DAX was very turbulent this morning found no proper S1/S2 or fruit setup on M1/M5 for me before noon. There was always a reason not to take a setup, either box or fruit candle was too big or AO old or big or something else. But anyway, I stayed disciplined.

After lunchbreak I took trade nr. 1 today which was a fruit with one add on.
+ 14 + 7 = + 21 Pips

Trade nr. 2 I took rather late. Was a good fruit setup althoug volatility was low. Didn't progress to my favour and exited at initial SL at - 10 Pips. Shouldn't have taken it due to lack of volatility.

Today's result:
+ 21 - 10 = + 11 Pips

Screen time 9:00-10:30 (GMT+1+DS) M1/M5 DAX only

At the moment, I decided to focus on DAX only at LO until 10:30 or 11 am or in the afternoon for max. 2 hrs.

Some good M1 fruit setups and M1/M5 S1 setups.

7 Trades (see below) - Result: +49 Pips

WOW... i can swear by God on this... I had the EXACT same trades on same spots... and exactly the same result for this am session. I then traded after NEO, and added a further 100 pips... but the am session was tough start with lovley end. well done buddy well done... and keep it going... i like the 2hrs per session thinking. Fruit is FULL of opps anyway.

Yes, awesome, completly synchronized. I think you've sent your vibrations trough the ether :D

This 2hrs limitation is necessary to me because I tend to stick in front of the screen much longer than usefull and reasonable. I have to be cautious not to disregard other duties and activities and, as far as I can tell, DAX is really moving the most for about 2 hours at or short before LO and at bank opening in NY.

Screen time 9:00-11:30 (GMT+1+DS) M1/M5 DAX only

Today the trading session started very turbulently. Very nice down fruit 3 min prior LO, red news at LO, more red news 30 min later with a beautiful up fruit 2 min before them, which I haven't taken either due to news. At news, the price went up sharply in direction of the not taken fruit trade.
A little bit angry about myself, I waited for a setup according to Immy's news strategy. Price nicely retraced at 38.2% fib level and I took trade 1 with strong up trend at break of AIMS. I stayed in at the first down fruit 'cause it had no angulation. Exit at 2nd down fruit, which had good angulation. Didn't stop an reverse because there was no divergency.
Could have added on once but didn't. So had nice and smooth +55p ;-)

Trades 2 to 4 were during corrective range bound phase. Some nice fruit and S1 setups but no good results. Could have made some nice pips when traded range properly ;-)

Today's result:
Trade 1: + 55p
Trade 2: - 14p
Trade 3: - 10p
Trade 4: + 4p
---------------------
overall: + 35 pips, yesssss :D

After some research and analysis of the first 4 weeks, I made some decissions according my trading. As assumption I decided to trade DAX M1/M5 fruits, AA and S1/S2 at LO or NY bank opening for 2 hrs and/or EURUSD M5/M15 at FO. All together max. 2hrs per day.
The position size for all setups is always 1 lot DAX or 0.1 lot EU to get used to position sizes for my live standard account which I am planning to trade soon.

I start to feel confident and comfortable with fruits as main entry signal.

Because I'm off tomorrow, friday, I close my 5th week with these results:
Result of week 5 (20.10.-23.10.2014):
20.10. +/- 0p
21.10. + 11p
22.10. + 49p
23.10. + 35p
-------------------
Sum: + 95 Pips :)

Screen time 9:00-10:30 and 11:00-14:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only

Sticked to the screen much too long. Did some foolish trades (look at the 2nd chart).
There was such a lovely down trend after LO with plenty of entry points but I wanted to catch the start of counter trend under all circumstances. But finally I made it.
The second part of trading from 11am-2pm was full of gambling trades, stupid me. At the end I pulled myself together and took a nice S1/S2 setup with one add on.

Results:
-8+1-14-9.5-4,5+72-5.5-11-22+51 = +70.5p not so bad but should have been much more without those crazy trades.
