Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal
Well done again mate...I 'm looking forward to the end result of your fruit endeavour I believe you have amassed a great number of pips..
Your chart looks too busy and complicated but I know behind it is a simple concept. Trade the Fruit. I hope and wish your mind gets untangled and you st art to enjoy plain clean charts but hey if its working for you ... why the hell not.. .carry on
have a good one!

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

I'll publish my trade stats of the last 3 months since I rejoined AIMS over the weekend. There will be roughly about + 1400 Pips.immy wrote:Well done again mate...I 'm looking forward to the end result of your fruit endeavour I believe you have amassed a great number of pips..

As I mentioned yesterday, it's really my goal to trade from a clean chart (in the nearer future ;-)).
Cheers

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal
Thu. Dec. 18, 2014
Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 10:15 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.
Screen time NY-session 15:30 - 16:45 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.
Both sessions were rather difficult for me since there weren't good signals that brought big moves at the times I watched the charts today.
There was one nice fruit setup that led into a very nice down move but that showed up before 9am (GMT+1) so I missed.
After that and during the NY-session all attempts for big moves or break-out failed. So I had enough to do to cut my losses.
In the morning I quitted taking trades after the third failed attempt, what turned out to be a very good decission as market kept on tightly ranging, and in the afternoon I was only one fruity away from a very nice down-move but unfortunatly I had to leave right at the moment that fruit showed up. Next time I will be there again ;-)
Now I'm sitting at my desk and analysing my today's trades. I think I made mostly correct decissions at entering and exiting trades. Only thing I will think about if market conditions like on my charts are tradeable anyway and how to judge when to stay out generaly.
LO session: - 4 - 2 + 1 + 13 = + 8 Pips
NY sesion: + 12 - 27 - 5 - 9 = - 29 Pips
Today's result: + 8 - 29 = - 19 Pips, it's really ok and could be much, much more negative Pips ;-)

Thu. Dec. 18, 2014
Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 10:00 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.
So, these are my last trades of 2014.
Was a very good down-move right after LO. Unfortunatly for me the breakout occured 1 minute before LO so I missed it since I used to watch the charts from 9:00am on. Then there appeared a nice BDC as an ITB entry (trade 1 with add on at next AIMS-level).
At a good up fruit which could have been the bottom of the move (it actually wasn't) I went long (trade 2) and exited at TL with nearly 1:1 profit of 8 Pips.
Today's result:
+ 25 + 7 = = + 32 Pips - what a nice completion of 3 very intensive trading months
)
I'll post the formated stats after the weekend but preliminary I can say that there are 1.368 Pips on my side since 23. Sept., 2014 with an average SL of only 15 Pips per trade, trading DAX M1/M5 only.
My first trade in 2015 will also be my first live trade. I'm really looking foreward to it. If I manage it mentally and emotionally trading real money I hope to continue collecting Pips regularly.
Have a beautiful and joyful Christmas and a happy New Year.
Cheers,
Michael
p.s.: for screen shots I switched to printer-friendly color scheme again. For trading I'm sticking to eye-friendly dark grey colors.

ps: Just don't allow your lefty to create a problem so that you spend all your time trying to solve a problem that did not exist in the first place. e.g. taking a loss is a problem for the "left brain" but it actually is not a problem. its a fact that exists. All you have to do is focus on winners, allow the winners to take care of the the "so called problem".

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal
Hi Michael.
Wish you had a Merry Christmas and now wishing you a Happy New Year. Thanks for your wishes.
Sorry if I missed it, but I'm waiting for your stats for the 2 months of demo trading. If you have already please forgive me, if not would you please post something. A brief summary of Weekly gains/losses and total trading hours would be nice.
I'll be closely monitoring your trading from tomorrow and would love to be there with you step by step... Come on Skypers...
cheers

The stats are following these days but I'm still on ski-holidays until tomorrow. I'll be back on Wednesday at 8:45 am in Chatzy/Skype and then there will be my stats as well.
