Great results Michael. Nice trend as you are catching the bigger moves and 12 weeks to double your account. 1 losing week in 13 and looks like a nice lesson as your losses have been far smaller since.. Well done

What can I say Michael, you're proving it right. You make us proud. Well done on your discipline and i'm looking forward to trading with you in the skype room as usual.
and again Well done michael on your discipline of trading your demo account for 3 months and thanks for listening to me to have added december as well into your demo time making it 13 weeks. The results seem awesome and now its time to put it into real practice and hope you stay focused and energised and continue without slightest bit of hesitation or fear. Enjoy it and have fun.

Note to AIMSters: guys look at the stats, he's been trading only 8hrs per week. This is trading and still he managed to grab that many pips and doubling account is no issue here, so can you do the same? of course you can. We are here to learn and share our experiences which is why we are a group heading in the same direction towards a common goal. Lets do it together.

ps: so did you double your account?

A great big genuine congratulations Michael.

This proves the big thing that novice traders do not "get" for some time. You do not have to be in a trade to be trading, you will have trades hit S/L, but so long as you follow your Entry Setup and once in, follow your trade management - without stress, then you are a winner in a BIG way.

Congrats again. Look forward to seeing many more months of consistant trading (wd) (wd) (wd) (wd)

Wed. Jan. 7, 2015

Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 11:00 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.

Here we go - these are my first trades of 2015. I thought they are my first live trades as well but I mixed up my accounts at logging into MT4 so I accidently used my demo account ;-)

DAX started with high volatility and much movement but no clear direction. Tried 3 fruit setups where 1st and 3rd got rents and 2nd broke so was canceled. At the third one I placed a PO for stop-and-reverse (SAR) because there was still good down momentum. This fruit failed but the following SAR trade moved nicely in my direction. The exit of this winner was at a lovely up fruit which was a great entry signal but I didn't take it because my brain was still busy processing the last trade. I'm sure that gaining experience will help me to enter turned trades more regularly.

Result of the day:
- 13 - 9 + 28 = + 6 Pips - still demo ;-)

Thu. Jan. 8, 2015

Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 11:00 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.

Today was REALLY my first live trading day :D

There was a big gap of about 70 Pips at FO. After that until i finished at 11am, DAX was moving in a tight down rang. Unfortunatly I missed the only short trending period at the end of my session because I was a bit unfocused as result of the slumberous period before.

I took only one fruit which turned out to be a small rent.

The huge up trend which started at around 11:30am was without me but one should be able to pull out huge Pips out of it, right?

Today's result:
- 10 Pips

Fri. Jan. 9, 2015

Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 11:00 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.

Very choppy beginnig after FO/LO. At around 9:30am DAX started to make smoother moves which I wanted to take some Pips out of it. After two small rents I caught a nice up move which payed a little bit more than 20 Pips. I should have taken this lovely down fruit at the end of my long trade but was so (mentally) busy closing my trade that I was not able to enter short.

today's resut:
- 7 - 12 + 23 = + 4 real money Pips.

Result of week 1 - 29.12.2014-2.1.2015:
no trading - Christmas holidays

Result of week 2 - 05.01.-09.01.2015:
Mon. 05.01. no trading - holidays
Tue. 06.01. no trading - holidays
Wed. 07.01. + 6 Pips (accidently demo)
Thu. 08.01. - 10 Pips (live)
Fri . 09.01. + 4 Pips (live)
----------------------
Result ...... +/- 0 Pips (with - 6 Pips on live account)

It's very useful for me to trade with absolute minimum pos. sizes/money risk. With that it doesn't feel much different than demo trading. I think it's a good way for me getting used to live trading. When I get more and more familiar to live trading, I'll increase pos. sizes step by step until I reach my goal of 1% risk on each trade with 15 Pips average SL on M1. If I change TF I'll have to recalculate my avg. SL.

Mon. Jan. 12, 2015

Screen time LO-session 9:00 - 11:00 am (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only.

LO started nicely with high volatility and big beautiful up and down moves. I was able to catch the first up move in 2 steps.
As exiting the long trade at a beautiful short fruit, I was so busy again closing the long trade that I wasn't able to take the turned trade. After that I was more focused to the Skype chat than to the charts so I missed the second fruit into the following up trend as well.

I need to work on taking turned trades and to be more concentrated to trading without getting me distracted easily.

Today's result:

+ 21 + 40 = + 61 Pips (live) - I'm very happy with the quality of the trades and the Pip-count although I missed two big tradeable picture book moves with lovely preceeding fruit signals.
