Re: Higher Time Frames
Hi Immy,
I had a doubt in my mind regarding the use of this strategy for trading gold and silver. I donno why but I have a strong inclination to trade gold and silver. So can I use your strategy to trade gold? What timeframe should I trade on and how far should be the stoplosses?
I know I am stretching you a li'l too far by, since this this question is not related to the setups, but I think you (Grant and John as well) can help me.
Please guide.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Higher Time Frames
Hi Imran
If you understood the fractal geometric nature of the market you'd know the very reason why we trade M1. The whole world will tell you off if you tell them you're trading m1. people have so much negative stuff to say about lower time frames. But the reality is, A 500pip trade on a daily is equal to a 10 pip trade on m1. Why wait 3months for 1% account rise if you can do it within 15mintues at 8am UK, nearly everyday?
Gold and Silver are very good. Alpari started this even on micro now. For every market/pair you have to familiarise yourself with its usual ATR (average true range) etc. I dont use that indicator anymore since I trade EU and I know all the ins and out of this currency. once you know the usual wavelength (ATR) of the pair you've decided to trade and a few more technical bits about you should be fine. With Gold spread is different but A Setup is A Setup is A setup on any time frame, currency or market.
Trade with confidence my friend! Doubts an worry only Attracts more of Doubt and Worry
Have fun!
cheers

Re: Higher Time Frames
HI Mike,
as far as i know there is no separate manual, the system is traded in exactly the same way as the m1 charts, just change your SLs etc to suit the TF your looking at....
cheers

Patience and Discipline
You may or may not get a Setup for weeks on H4 and higher and its perfectly normal. H4 and above has been under the umbrella of 4th wave since 2008 so finding setup 1's require much patience. But valid Setup 2's are plenty. Patience and Discipline. You dont have to trade just because you don't have an open position.

Re: Higher Time Frames
HI Immy,
I post my trade here last night. Do you know where it was moved to? Or perhaps I did not upload it correctly?
Thanks

Re: Higher Time Frames
HI Immy,
I took the cable long yesterday. The entry is at the red vertical line. May I have your suggestions, feedback? I am still in the trade, and plan to stay in until a red dot, or would you disagree?
Many thanks

Re: Higher Time Frames
Hi Anil
Nice trade there. If I were you I'd be looking to exit on a 5 candle trail or wait for a close on green line. Close on green line because I see AO has peaked and in divergence mode now. If it diverges green line close (not touch) would be my exit. Thats where you'd get your red dot anyway. Just for your information if you decide to download the V5 please know it that it does not support an exit dot for now. But we have something in the pipeline that will come very soon hopefully
cheers
