Mickey's Journal
After a break came back and read Paul's Journal
- he is doing something seriously right! - seems
he's letting winning trades run
I tend to trail and panic in case price reverses
So I tried a new approach with two Fruit trades
First Fruit was +100 in profit and I really wanted
to trail and lock in that profit but I didn't, I just
let the winning trade run and ended up -10, -14, -21 = -45
The second trade I managed better
+55, +37, +24, +17 = +133
However I feel very stressed and out of my comfort zone
It could easily have been +233 if I had managed the first trade
in my usual way, but I'm trying to develop, and overcome this
need to grab the money quick before it reverses.
This really isn't easy! not for me at least
Next came NYO Breakout for +107 - it was very quiet on Skype
not sure if anyone else were on this trade. Hope so - unusually big winner!

I did fall asleep last night listening to 'Think and Grow Rich' hypnosis

Can't really see the connection except...
I wanted 'richer' results like Paul gets? I made +160 pips today!
I'm genuinely bewildered

+97 so far today
Another good but very frustrating day with GKFX continual
platform freezes makes trading very difficult. I did some
DAX but switched to another broker for some Forex trading
as I can't find a decent broker who offer mini lots for Dax.

Re: Mickey's Journal
YOu've got the necessary training on Dax, you can now apply it to any currency with good volatility and range on m1. Guidline is you need at least 80 pip range over 100 is better. EJ EU (with low spread) otherwise jump straight to 4 pairs on H1.
What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

I found this site, I think Daily ranges are changing all the time, even the
5 and 10 day average can be quite different
http://www.antssys.com/AverageRange/index.php
I don't know if there is a site that updates more frequently.
this one is three weeks old already. Anyone have any better
info on Up to Date Daily Ranges?
Its getting the best mix of best spread with best Daily range
These nine have low spreads and may be worth monitoring
GBPAUD 157 ADR
EURCAD 136 ADR
EURAUD 135 ADR
GBPUSD 130 ADR ( very good spread )
CHFJPY 129 ADR
GBPJPY 126 ADR
EURUSD 123 ADR ( best spread obviously )
USDCHF 120 ADR ( very good spread )
EURJPY 119 ADR ( very good spread )

Finally! A broker that offers Microlots for Dax
with Spreads of less than 0.5 pip STP. XTB
Some FPA reviewers complain about virtual trader plug in
but many who rate 5 star don't seem to have noticed
the plug in. I often wonder about such conflicting
reviews
I opened a demo account and will give it a try from
next Tuesday. But already I found the platform very
responsive and no Stop hunting whatsoever.
Seems far superior to GKFX - the only use for this
broker is tax free spread betting if you're in UK
but of course if you need to follow everyone on
Skype there will be minor differences with XTB
likely resulting in Fruit signals not appearing at the
same places.
The usual gripe for me is the Stop hunting.
I have trialed scores of brokers
The only ones that stand out from the crowd for
fast, stable execution with no Stop hunting, no
requotes, minimal slippage and tight spreads are:-
ATC, IC Markets, ThinkForex, HotForex, XM
and trialing Pepperstone last fortnight but I think
they're ok
with Spreads of less than 0.5 pip STP. XTB

Actually its hard not to love Pepperstone, especially
on the Dailies. This Fruit from the 15th is already up
+802 pips! but not counting it in my T20 results.

He Sure Plays a Mean Pinball!!
Some time ago I uploaded a video of 'Tommy' of The Who fame
playing Pinball to 'Pinball Wizard' song. Don't think anyone really got it
But trading the 1M is just like that
Pinball Wizard just wins so effortlessly, he becomes 'part of the machine'
Anyway, Ive found a fantastic Binary broker who may or may not
be honest, almost all are a scam ( Markets World are completely honest
but typically low returns )
but you can play on demo and its a great platform
Actually you can play for money if you want, min dep $10 and min stake $1
although I'm not recommending that
But returns are phenomenal 92% - never seen Binaries pay out that much before.
so what I do just for both fun and to improve my entries is I monitor
my AIMS MT4 chart on one screen and trade on the Binary platform.
So far I've only lost $300
Of course useless for Fruit but great for timing your entries on S1 and S2
Can't recommend this as a serious financial vehicle as even 92% is poor RR
but it is fun and it does improve coordination which is key for Binary Options,
M1 oh and Pinball of course
Just got my first winner - it plays a little victory tune!

Re: Mickey's Journal
hi
A couple points,
Firstly: "Stop hunting". Where brokers are said to be "regulated" I would not easily believe it goes on, but the part of my brain which thinks everybody is out to get me when I'm wrong side in a trade tells me of course it happens on an individual broker basis. By which I mean the broker amends his margin or price to take you out, however to do this they would surely be drawing other people in to trade with stop orders? Whereas with binary option dealers, I think all sorts of horrible things go on, none of them are regulated, and there's no telling whether their price to you is the same as to the next guy.
Secondly, "Binaries". It seems like pure gambling, the odds are highly stacked against the trader, and I understand even withdrawing profits is difficult...... Might as well flush money down the loo. One of my colleagues found he could only get 55% winning trades in more than 100 tries, which is nearly as bad as random!
This guy has a few thoughts about it: I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth[/center]
