Back to Demo Journal

Unread post by twister08 »

Hi Aimsters!

After a long process of analyzing what went wrong in my live account, I decided to go back to trading and present the trades I took in this journal. For me, it will be a tough journey, facing my emotions and the dark side of my brain and soul.

Today was the first day on demo and some of the emotions (I did not expect them by risking 0.25% per trade only on a demo account) were already saying hello to me. So it seems to be a good simulation... ;)

I will stay on demo for at least one month and will start the 20 trade consistancy programm as soon as I feel confident.

Today`s trades were okay, quite a good start.

Thank you so much for your FTM - this lettle gem helps a lot. As I said before, it is worth every penny if it will keep the lot sizes in line and prevents me from closing trades too early...

Hi

Welcome to the world of "Trading Self Help". A trading journal is the best thing that can ever happen to any trader. No one should ever attempt to do anything without recording it. Because if you don't record you will never know what you did and if you don't know what you do and what you did how will you ever improve?

Well done and congratulations on this crucial step towards trading success, a consistent success. I particularly appreciate the fact that you called it "consistency program". Love it. Consistency is our Ultimate Goal. Making pips and money is the byproduct of this process. if you learn to enjoy the process the results will be worth showing off!

FTM! what can I say, STEVE is a genius and he's done it again. Not to mention our hidden friend Julius!

All the best.. .looking forward to adding your journal to my list of daily readings...

ps: make sure you consider trades as campaigns or group of trades instead of separate. E.g. initial entry and 2 add-ons, within a single wave is one campaign. Its called the process of Scaling into "a trade" and scaling out if possible. e.g. 2 and 3 = Camp 2. (its one camp that consists of 2 trades"

cheers

The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
