Wednesday's NEO session proved again, that the system works just fine, but I still don't use it. I still don't just trade what I see without thinking long or short all the time. Some nice trades from Fruit to Fruit would have been possible with a nice long trade in the end, but what I think the market is going to do still gets in the way of success.

Camp 383: Breakout Long
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 12.1 Pips (0.4)

Camp 384: Breakout Short
Trade 1: Breakout Short + 10.4 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On 1 + 4.4 Pips (0.2)
Trade 3: Add On 2 + 5.0 Pips (0.6)

Camp 385: Fruit Long
Trade 1: Fruit Long - 10.5 Pips (0.8)

Camp 386: Breakout Long
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 0.9 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 3.5 Pips (0.3)

I suffer from the same "disease". Read my signature. i've just added a new line. :) [its for me]

May suggest the following actions
1. get rid of Seed. (if you want to trade seed, stop trading fruit) do not mix and match. its not just one bar. Its a whole different strategy.
2. stop taking Classic breakouts for a couple of weeks or stop taking fruits which ever is your main weapon of choice keep that. [trade fruit only in my opinion]
3. Engage more in Skype room.

Thank you for your suggestions, Immy.
I don't trade the seed, just Fruit and Breakout. I changed my template now, so that it does not show the seed anymore.
Unfortunately the speed of the internet is pretty lame where I am right now, thats why I don't join the Skype room, but I will try do get a second connection here.
I kind of need the Breakout trades, but I have to limit them to where they really should be used. Today they worked pretty good, except that I didn't take the obvious Breakout into wave 5.
I will keep working on it.

Cheers, Tracker.

Thursday's NEO turned out some profit for me, but again it could have been much more if I would just trade the setups and stick to the rules. Keeping the SLs tighter into wave 4 and not missing the nice wave 5, because of fear to loose the gained pips would once again really made the day.

After trading to many Breakouts again in Wave 4 the NEO session finally ended with some success. The AA Fruit Short with two add ons made good for the losses and returned some profit. To anxious in wave 4 not to miss anything and therefore ended up selling the lows and buying the highs for a few times. Typical whiplash that a trader should stay out of. Should have recognized that earlier and relied on the Fruit to keep me in tune.

Camp 393: Breakout Short

Trade 2: Add On 1 + 49.8 Pips (0.1)
Trade 3: Add On 2 + 44.8 Pips (0.1)

Camp 396: Fruit Long
Trade 1: Fruit Long - 1.7 Pips (0.8) (TM put the SL at the AimsBox; why not below the Fruit)

Camp 397: Fruit Long
Trade 1: Fruit Long - 7.1 Pips (0.2)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 15.1 Pips (0.1)

With fruits there's a small issue with AIMS levels. Fruit will be formed out of the AIMS box and if the PO triggers within first or second bar after the fruit there's no new AIMS level formed yet. New AIMS level get formed after 2nd bar. I don't know the internals how EA works, but if this is the case, I would suggest you to wait for proper trailing conditions before turning on the trail.

My EA has following logic for activating trailing: it waits for those two bars for new AIMS level to form and it waits for price to move to another side of the gator. I think for fruits it's a good logic, whether you follow it manually or by EA. By default for me trailing is off anyway and I manually enable possible automatic trailing for trades case by case.

Hi Tomi,

thanks for the advice. That's what I did when I used the other trade manager. I have to go back to doing that. Already happened a few times now that the sl was to close.

Have a nice weekend.

Clearly over trading today. A few month ago I would have never thought it would be that hard to get my emotions under control and stay disciplined in the now.
A good lecture, and experience, that's for sure.

And you know what I am looking forward to each and every trading session.

Have nice weekend,

Mondays NEO gave me some pips, but again proper trade management would have yielded some more. The second Add On in Camp 402 was to early. Wait for the new AimsLevel to form! In Camp 403 I should have closed all Trades after the market pushed up to TZ1 again and again. Closed the initial trade and the first add on manually after closing add on two at TZ1. TM might have kept me in for that next push up. Anyway getting in long again after the AO had touched the zero line would have given me some more pips, too.

All that should and would doesn't help, I have to do it!!!!!!!!!!

Camp 402: Breakout Short
Trade 1: Breakout Short - 3.4 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 16.0 Pips (0.2)

Camp 403: Breakout Long
Trade 1: Breakout Long + 22.7 Pips (0.2)
Trade 2: Add On 1 + 19.0 Pips (0.4)
Trade 3: Add On 2 + 20.9 Pips (0.2)
