Re: Tracker's Journal

Monday's NEO should have been a nice profitable session, but I exited my long trade to early, again not playing by the rules. The following Short (Campaign 446) was by the rules, but my feeling actually said: don't take it! Took it anyways and lost my meager profit. At least I had the sense to close the SAR right away as I noticed that I was about to repeat my mistakes from last week.

Camp 443:
Trade 1: Breakout Short - 8.4 Pips (0.3)

Camp 444:
Trade 1: Fruit AA Short - 18.4 Pips (0.5)

Camp 445:
Trade 1: Breakout Long + 20.7 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On 1 + 20.0 Pips (0.7)
Trade 3: Add On 2 - 0.6 Pips (0.2)

Camp 446:
Trade 1: Fruit Short - 16.1 Pips (0.6)

Camp 447:
Trade 1: SAR - 3.6 Pips (0.2)

In Tuesday's NEO I missed the down move. Should have gone Short with one Add On after the Breakout Long didn't work. And SL needs to be tighter when going into wave 4. Should have closed camp 448 after that first push down and the second add on was to much. Again!!!!!
Campaign 450 saved me and got me back to where I started from today.
I still don't have the discipline to trade what I see most of the time.

Camp 448:
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 17.6 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 25.5 Pips (0.3)
Trade 3: Add On 2 - 27.4 Pips (0.3)

Camp 449:
Trade 1: Fruit Long: - 28.1 Pips (0.3)

Camp 450:
Trade 1: Fruit Long: + 49.3 Pips (0.5)
Trade 2: Add On 1: + 27.7 Pips (0.2)

Thursday's session was not to bad. At least I kept the discipline most of the time. Should have traded those two Fruits long. The first, after the the price pulled away from the gator and I closed my short trade above the Fruit. And the second when the next Fruit had formed a nice 1-2 setup. Instead I tried the breakout short. Should have put the SL right above the Fruit and taken the Fruit long for a nice ride up. In Camp 459 the Price just didn't want to push down so I ended up closing it above the AimsLevel. Would have been a really nice trade when price had pushed down a bit.

Camp 455:
Trade 1: Breakout Short - 10.2 Pips (0.3)
Trade 2: Add On - 15.8 (0.3)

Camp 456:
Trade 1: Fruit Long - 10.2 Pips (0.9)

Camp 457:
Trade 1: Fruit Short + 48.2 Pips (0.4)
Trade 2: Add On + 34.8 Pips (0.2)

Camp 458:
Trade 1: Breakout Short - 25.8 Pips (0.4)

Camp 459:
Trade 1: Fruit Short + 13.0 Pips (0.5)
Trade 2: Add On 1 + 7.8 Pips (0.6)
Trade 3: Add On 2 + 0.4 Pips (0.5)

What can I say, I am actually at loss for words. Everything I had built up over the last weeks is lost again confidence inclusive. The day I get a full third star making me a 'competent' (rofl) trader I feel as incompetent as I haven't felt for weeks. With the density so low I should not even have started trading today, at the very least I should have stopped trading after the second try, but no I even increased the intensity of my trading always hoping for the one 20 pips push that would give me my money back. Of course it did not come. Again just trading from Fruit to Fruit would have been ok could have even made some pips there, but all those breakouts at the high of the range in a barely moving market are the doing of somebody who does not know what he is doing and has not grasped the concept. Quite rightly I have been punished relentlessly for my lack of discipline and loss of self-control. Why trade heavily in a market in which nothing can be gained and probabilities are low and always be cautious in a market that moves and produces good signals!?!?!?!? It is kind of contradictory how I held on to my trades today without moving my SL and at other times when that would really be appropriate I am not disciplined enough to do just that.
I have to sit down and meditate about my trading to find a way to force myself to trade with discipline. I can't give up, because it will haunt me forever that I couldn't control myself and get it right.

Camp 471:
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 17,8 Pips (0.5)
DS 1

Camp 472:
Trade 1: Fruit Long - 9.2 Pips (1.0)

Trade 3: Add On 2 - 10.4 Pips (0.4)
DS 0

Camp 476:
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 11.3 Pips (0.8)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 12.0 Pips (0.8)

Camp 477:
Trade 1: Breakout Long - 8.3 Pips (1.1)
Trade 2: Add On 1 - 13.5 Pips (0.7)
Trade 3: Add On 2 - 15.0 Pips (0.6)

Everything goes in waves. You might have encountered wave 2 and after these trades your profits will go to wave 3 now ;) Guided missile needs feedback from mistakes in order to get back in track. Relax and trade only the setups. If you miss a move....so what, it's only a move. There are moves every day.

Hi Tracker!

Looks like the "suicide bomber" within kicked in there... Trying to make money trying to make pips ... while ignoring the market situation. Its ok to have traded during chop, we will all be trapped in it from time to time. But we must do two things when market is not moving. 1. Don't add on aggressively as you did (easy to say now I know) and 2. Don't stay there in hope that it will turn around. Your exits have not been upto your standards. Too late.

Never mind. there is always tomorrow. and today the market played out well. and you know what? i was stuck in the past. So I missed (decided not to take) the first AA long. Michael did and got himself 50 pipper! i however took the next break in to wave 5. which was fun!
