Re: David's journal
Monday: great trend today but only managed to catch a few small winners.
Tuesday: Not many good setups during the time I traded today so it was a bit frustrating watching price move 150 pts up and down without giving much entry opportunities. Out of the few that were available I managed to miss 2 classic breakout into wave 5.
Im happy about one thing, I stuck to the plan and didnt overtrade.

Re: David's journal
Not many setups today during NEO and I managed to miss the best ones. Learned and practiced so its not all bad. Getting better at spotting patterns and reading ewaves so its just a matter of time before I can either BE or make small profits during slow days like today.

Re: David's journal
Difficult day for me. Started out with 2 small loss (0.25% each) and missed out on some moves. Eventually emotions took over and ended up breaking my rules by revenge trading. I think the accumulation of the last 3 days was too much for me to handle. Maybe I should have taken a break today instead of trading. Burned through most of last weeks profits.
Need to take control of my emotions otherwise ill just keep pissing my profits away.

Re: David's journal
I decided to take a small break from m1 trading until I can fix my pain/pleasure associations in order to NEVER EVER break a rule again. Also need to fix what I associate money with and what I believe I deserve as I always seem to find a way to screw things up whenever I get a good winning run.
I will still trade daily charts as they require very little time once a day and I dont seem to suffer from mental breakdown trading daily charts (probably because its only takes 5-10 min and I dont have enough time to work myself into a shit state of mind).

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Re: David's journal
Thanks Immy, I will miss the skype chat and trading as well. It wont be off for long, maybe a week or 2. Will see how it goes and how I feel im progressing. So far I really like what im learning and already applying some of the techniques described by Tony Robbins. I feel like this is the missing piece for me to reach the next level of trading and become consistently successful. The best part is that this can be applied to every aspect of my life, can change pretty much anything I dont like
Really amazing stuff!

Re: David's journal
Took a few trades since NEO had good movement. Closed the day at +6 %. Covered for yesterday's abysmal -5% (which mostly due to lack of discipline and bad exits)

Re: David's journal
Lately I have been focusing on never breaking my rules. Today, in order to reinforce my good behavior of not breaking rules, I congratulate myself on trading well and not breaking the rules. Im not gonna mention anything related to account growth as I dont want to focus on that. In fact I want to avoid thinking about this account balance and concentrate on discipline and trading well.
So yay for me being disciplined and trading well today

Someone is seeing the light. Understanding what is trading. Well done on this realisation and stepping into the world of conscious incompetence
All the best
