Murph's Trading Journal

Unread post by MagicMurph »

I have never kept a journal before hence ONE of the reasons why I havent been consistent as a trader. So I will publish my trades here now so that I get into the discipline of doing it every day I trade.

Welcome to the world of Trading Correctly and learning from mistakes. If you never kept a journal, you have never known what mistakes you made and if you knew them you never recorded them so you never had the chance to reflect and learn from it. But now the biggest challenge is to keep this journal updated and give as much detail as possible. Michael Zlabinger, the magician's journal is a great example.

The second thing I'd like to point is that if you don't have a trading plan, keep a journal will be useless!

cheers

ps: where is the screen shot of hte trade. no screenshot makes the readers skip your post! because they can't see what has happened

hi murph

excellent stuff but there is just one thing at the end that I think needs attention. The trade management for Seed/Cherries is different. Please consult Grant or Me tomorrow in the Skype room! We were only gonna give the details of seed/cherry trading in the skype group only but its ok you can keep this here! cheers

Hi Immy
I have updated the strategy based on new events in this mornings session. Learning a lot here .. just wondering if it is the exact same entry strategy for cherry as it is for seed ?

Murphy

I think it would be better if you upload screeenshots on to your journal and write in the journal like Michael's journal. Its hard for me to read this way. Moreover this document would keep increasing in size with every new update. If you upload the pics and the narrations on a new post everything will remain safe here and you'll easily have a look at it as well as others. No need to download either. But keep doing this work, its essential to your trading success. :-bd

cheers

ps: believe it or not, not everyone has Microsoft Word installed on their computers . specially this ipad that i'm using right now
