What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Re: The SEED
Apple Seeds and Cherries - Skype Trading Group - Info
I have to state that I only have two Entry Mechanisms Left in my trading plan for M1/M5 Dax. The Seed and The Cherry (the Grant Way) Using the Same Pattern. The simplicity of this setup is mind-blowingly amazing.
I do not think Setup 1 or classic breakout is necessary. But if you're trading only that then carry on its a different thing all together. Setup is the most amazing setup I've ever traded.
As for DC and MIB they are great to and so is apple and fruit but you gotta keep things simple.
We will however take CLEAR Setup 1/ Classic Signals ONLY into a clear possible wave 5 following a clear Wave 3.
A Clear wave 3 = one with not too little number of pips (less than 30) or too many pips = over 100. and the angle of 3 is not too flat neither too steep. 45 degrees is best.
Logic. Why have I have decided to not trade Apple despite its high Reward rate.
1. just simplifying things and reducing entry signals
2. If I'm trading cherries I'm trading Apples of lower time frame. If you don't understand this watch the 2 part videos i posted for Richard YD
in the forum as well.
Logic. for Why have I decided to not trade reversal fruit
1. same as 1 above
2. If I'm trading Cherries I'm already trading apple of lower time frame and apple is also a fruit entry so its covered. but i don't have to cover it. its all about what gives me the highest probability of success.
Logic for Why do I not trade DC?
1. I have never traded DC.
Logic for Why Seed:
AS we know A Tight Seed of Current Time Frame = a Tight Setup 1 of 5 or 10 x lower time frame
Logic for why Cherries:
As explained the videos in the above post quote below again.
Cherries are Apples on the lower time frames.
So in effect Seed and Cherry are based on the same logic and pattern. Trading using Trend of Current and 5xhigher time frame and making entries and proportionally smaller risk of 5x lower time frame. while profits are based on current time frame wave. This gives us higher Risk Reward and win rate. Because we risk less and make more and trade only when market is moving clearly and trending.

Seed H1
Hi Immy and everyone.
I have paper-traded the seed strategy for a while now and I would like to clarify a few points please.
On all 6 pairs recommended to trade, the stop loss for the "seed" is mostly between 30-45 pips which I don't have an issue with, so my clarification is:
I know the strategy has been back tested so is it recommended to take trades larger than 20 pips stop loss as I'd like to use my stop-loss on the H1 chart just a few pips above the seed candle.
I am also using the Entry Alert V5.2 noob which seems to NOT have a Filter Aims box pips in the indicator; and therefore it gives me more red and blue dots.
Is the Entry Alert V5.2 noob Ok to use?
Observation: The "Entry Alert V5.1" even if I change the "Filter Aimsboxpips" to e.g 30 pips gives me a lot of powder blue dots....if someone could clarify or comment it would be helpful ( I know though what powder blue dots mean, they just seem to disappear though when I use V5.2 noob indicator.)
*Also on a different note: I have all templates but there a an indicator/ template you use which the tells you when a "Seed" is detected on a chart or do you just use visual to spot inside bars?
Best regards.
Jasmien

Re: Seed H1
entry alert is not for seeds, seeds have a proper seed Indicator, we have upgraded the seed to the Hunt but you can prolly find the seed indies in forum somewhere.

Re: The SEED
I am only using the entry alert for the M5 chart as I am looking for a setup there and not on the H1. I only use the H1 to find a seed so I can switch to a lower timeframe to look for a setup, hope that makes sense.
Could someone please comment to my other questions; E.g. Can a seed still be taking if its more than 20 pips.
Best regards.

Re: The SEED
Hi Jasmien
Now that you are considering joining skype tomorrow, we will bring you upto date. anyway, whether you want to take a seed based on pips or not is a decision you will have to make while preparing your trading plan. It depends what you're trading and what time frame. I suggest we look for the Smallest Seeds for what we trade. e.g. UJ h1 regularly produces under 10 pips seeds on h1 with potential rewards or 15 times that is 150 pips rides. Other pairs such as gbp/jpy albeit higher spread, can produce 20-30 pips seeds with rewards of 300 pips on regular basis. etc etc.
Dax on m1, we follow a strict 10points Seed rule for AIMS The Hunt. [includes the seed and cherries entries]
We don't use the Noob indicator that was a beta version.
The powder blue dots are "invalid dots" You can chose not show them , in the settings.

Re: The SEED
Dear all,
the more I scroll through the posts, the more I get the impression they are made from insiders for insiders but the newcomers are left behind. The amount of information is huge, but in every picture I watch something is missing for the beginner. Mostly the exact entry point and exit point and the explanation why the trade was entered/ exited at this point. Don't get me wrong it's not criticism and I can understand that someone who understands the system doesn't need all these explanations. And believe it or not it's not a big help for a beginner like me. I spend hours in front of my computer to find information, if I found it, there is a few pages later a sentence which tells me that what I just found isn't used anymore. All I wish to have is a structured manual where I can clearly see how the system works. I have more stress finding information than enter trade. Please someone help.
