Seabreeze Journal

Unread post by Seabreeze »

Hello everyone my name is John and I have just Joined AIMS and very excited about coming on board with you all. :D

I have been trading around since 2011 and can only trade Daily Charts most of the time.

Over last Two years been In Profit averaging only around 20 to 50 % increase per year and looking to become a better trader.

most of the time I can only trade the Daily Time Frame because of work commitments, but I am looking to increase my account so I can trade lower time frames and only work part time in the future.

I have a lot to learn with AIMS and still reading Passionately and Promised myself to stick with it and master it. So any help and guidance would be warmly welcomed.

I had a day off today so decided to look at the charts in action on the 1m and 5m charts and took the trade as see below.

Any Constructive criticism is very welcome.

Reasons For Taking Trade.

1 Blue dot on 1m chart

2 Sleeping Alligator on both 1M & 5M charts

3 Price moving away from purple line on both 1M & 5m charts

4 Price broke out of AIMS level on 1M charts

5 AO not perfect but close on 1M chart

6 AO on 5M chart looks like there was a wave 3 sloped down into wave 4 and possible start of wave 5.

My stop was below AIMS Level on 1m chart and Take Profit 1st AIMS level on the 5m chart.

I realise that this was a tight trade only working with a four pips stop and TP I got away with it and added 1% to my accout.

This is my very first trade With AIMS so be gentle with me but any criticism is most welcome as I am very keen To Master
^:)^

Hi there friends

I Was available today at the US open so turned on my computer and waited for a set up.

I entered this set up as seen below and added a little over 1% to account.

Only Second ever trade taken with AIMS and two wins

I am happy to take 1% gain per trade at the moment but will look at trailing stops very soon

If I had stayed In a little longer on this occasion It Would have only resulted in three more pips

I am also happy to take a win of 1% and shut down for the day as this lets me digest whats just happened.

Thank you Immy for this great teachings. I send you warm wishes my friend. (hug)

Here is a trade taken today. I only had a hour spare so had a scan through charts and this set up came my way.

I forgot to take a pic of 1m entry but captured it on the 5m chart, not a bad week for first Week trading AIMS :)

Total trading days 3 and total hours trading only 2.5 yet a 3% gain on account.

Hi John,

Great trading mate, good start you seem to understand the Essense of AIMS. M5 gator open and Setup 1 on M1. that is the way we trade it. This concept , for you, can now easily be transferred into Seed trading, when you're ready. btw: you can drag and drop trades from history onto the chart and then take a screenshot.

cheers

Hi immy

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. It is a blessing to be part of AIMS.

I will do my homework on the seed Strategy over next few days.

Kind Regards

Hi Sam

Thanks for the warm welcome and sound advice. Seems like AIMS traders are a very nice group of people and that's just what I am looking for.

I would love to join the skype group in the future, unfortunately I am juggling my full time job on days and trading. I was lucky last week because I stole a few hours to trade and I maybe be able to do the same this week, normally I can only trade the Daily charts but I would love to be able to trade the lower time frames every day. When my account gets bigger I hope to work part time and trade more, and join you all in skype.

I plan to read the SEED file this week. So far I am really enjoying AIMS and have no regrets in joining.

Happy Trading Everyone

Here is a couple of trades I entered this morning before work.

As you can see I was a little concerned about the previous AIMS level so was a little quicker than normal to bring stop loss to break even. I was stopped out shortly after for nothing gained nothing lost.
EURUSDM112trades.png
A few moments later a signal came to re-enter, again I was a little concerned about the double previous AIMS levels so was a little quicker than normal to bring stop loss to break even.
EURUSDM1DR.png
Price moved up more than five green candles so moved stop up.
EURUSDM1asTOP4.png
Price seemed to be stalling so I closed the trade for a total of 2.3 % on the day.

Here is the two trades on one chart.

Hi everyone

Took this sell trade earlier and it struggled a bit, to be honest looking back I maybe should not have taken it as there is normally a lull in markets at this time of day.

I did almost pull out of the trade a couple of times. Price came within 5 pips of my stop. I wasn't happy being In this trade so as soon price did move slightly in my favor I pulled stop break even Plus one pip. price hit stop a few moments later for one pip profit. price continued in wrong direction so was a good decision to move stop early. Unfortunately I have no more time to trade today.
