Re: Tracker's Journal
No trades for me today. Just didn't see a signal that I really liked. The arrows mark the entries that I considered but decided against because I didn't think the odds where sufficiently in my favor.

The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Re: Tracker's Journal
Market moved quite a bit today, but there was just one valid trade for me. That first Seed after NYO should probably not have been filtered.
Trade 1:
Seed Long
P/L + 2%
DS = 1

Re: Tracker's Journal
Back to being not disciplined again and got punished by losing 3%. Just don't trade when the M5 Gator is not clearly open. Thats the lesson once again.
The questions, is the Gator on M5 open, do we have a high probability setup, can I give myself DS 1 if I take that trade, do I really want to risk 1% in that situation should have all been answered with NO, NO, NO. And therefor no Trade should have been taken today!!!!
Trade 2:
Seed Long
P/L - 1%
DS = 0
Trade 3:
Cherry Long
P/L - 1%
DS = 0
Trade 4:
Cherry Long
P/L - 1%
DS = 0

Re: Tracker's Journal
Slow session. Just took one trade (Cherry Short) when M5 went into wave 5.
Trade 5:
Cherry Short
P/L +- 0%
DS = 1
Trade 5:
Cherry Short
P/L +- 0%
DS = 1

Re: Tracker's Journal
No good setups for me today, but of course had to take one trade that was a valid setup but should have been filtered as it was after a big move and TZ1 was way to close. I am sitting here, quit confident not to take a trade and all of a sudden something overrides my brain and before I know it I am in a trade that should not have been taken.
Trade 6:
Cherry Long
P/L - 1%
DS = 0
Trade 6:

DS = 0

Re: Tracker's Journal
No trades for me today! Just no setup that really screamed: Take me!
Unfortunately I didn't clue into the Monarch Apple situation after it was to late!
I thought the day over once it kept on scrambling sideways.

Re: Tracker's Journal
It was a tough NEO Session. Not much movement but there was structure. Again, MZ caught the best of it with over 5% trading the London Session.

Re: Tracker's Journal
maybe it would be better to stay up late and trade the London session instead of getting up early to trade NEO.immy wrote:It was a tough NEO Session. Not much movement but there was structure. Again, MZ caught the best of it with over 5% trading the London Session.
