Yes Yes Yes, agreed with Michael

No No No, Gregory! we don't change settings as a result of one event. If you want to take the purple filter off, you have to give a proper reason. (not to me but to yourself.) Tiny changes here and there could have domino type catastrophic effects. Accept that its the rule and go roll with it. Remember its not your job to tweak the system, leave that to us. You just focus on following the rules that were given to you and accepted by you. I'm sure your written trading plan also says, "do not make random changes in the written trading plan".

I didn't take any trades today and I really don't know how to feel about that now. I think if the rules where strictly applied most of the signals where invalid and the rest should have been filtered.
I am starting to feel thoroughly discouraged!

Since I am back from an extended stay abroad where I just traded the NEO session for six month I am trying to get back on track. Did some pretty undisciplined and impulsive stuff, that cost me some nerves and a nice chunk of my account.

I am really trying to cut it down to the less is more trading now.

I'm finding last few weeks it's more about waiting
for the market to decide when it wants to start moving

and patiently sitting on my hands until that happens

Many times I couldn't wait - we call those times 'rents'

Two very bad trades today turned what should have been a plus two day into a minus two day.
Both trades today where in a very bad location. Looking at them now makes me shudder.
The nice cherry trade at 16:58 was not executed and instead of just waiting for the next prime signal I just hoped again, knowing all the time it was no good.
