Broker Suggestion for USA traders

Unread post by Hill »

This is my suggestion only; I don't get any financial gains by giving the brokers name out here.

CitiFx Pro
USA Broker who offers funds protection up to 250k USD. This is mainly to trade currencies.
TradersWay
This broker accepts US clients. Only to trade DAX live.

I heard an unverified story that there are couple of major brokers in USA might be in process of chapter 7 proceedings; to be safe, I withdrew the money from all the brokers. the official news might come in next few weeks.

I just want to be on the safe side and also wanted to inform you all.

H1 Fruits.

Just Fruits, no analysis done on my part.

How and Why I trade Fruits.

I like Fruits in H1 TimeFrame and trade them in that TF.

I used to do the VSA analysis using H1 and M5. So Fruits in H1 makes sense to me and I dont change timeframe for the fruit trading. H1 is constant for me.

For currencies, H1 Fruits. For DAX, M5 fruits.

Fruit is the clear price action indication of buyers/sellers activity in the market at that bar or time.

The question is, will it continue, is that a sustainable activity!

So by placing a PO few pips below/above the fruit action bar, I will get in that direction. If it is a true sustainable activity then the market will move the price in the same direction as Fruit Signal.

If the market moves the price few pips above/below the fruit bar, which is opposite to the direction indicated by The Fruit signal, the activity happened in the particular fruit bar is nullified and I wait for next Fruit Signal.

Per Fruit book, I have to do add-on at the break of any AIMS level in the direction of Fruit. I am not doing that. Rather, I take my first profit at that AIMS level, where we normally do add-on and adjust SL very close to the entry or BE. There is a reason.

I don't know how far this current action will carry on. So I like to lock in with set target to reward my effort. So I take either 40% or 60% depending on how far the AIMS level is. If the AIMS level is at the decent distance I take 40%. If the AIMS level is too close to the entry, I take 60%.

I keep trading the same over and over. that is it.

ps:
I use a money management EA which I bought for placing hidden pending orders and hidden take profit/stop loss.

The way it works is, I have to draw a horizontal line and name that as buy or sell with desired lotSize. It will wait for the price to come there; as soon as price hits that line the order is triggered.

I dont know if it is really needed or not; but I tend to think if the broker sees a PO within few pips reach, the broker might widen spread to fill before moving the market in the opposite direction. So I started using hidden PO with Horizontal lines and I like that.

Hopefully, if Steve has time, my request is to incorporate this in his ATM/FTM EA.

now, NZDUSD has a H1 fruit and next AIMS level which is my 40% TP and it is 90pips away

in a way, if the AIMS box is bigger and has fruit to go in, I lick my lips and wait for juicy pips.

Trade of the Year or Last year?

Unread post by Hill »

I really can not how to classify this one. I bought FXCM stocks and hold onto those which netted me 268
To some of you, it dont matter; but I am thrilled and wanted to share my success results.

that was a freaking awesome trade, indeed. :)) :)) :))

Since it was my goal to make 200 in 2016 and already beat that by 68, re-evaluating my goals. I think, I have bought more time to relax and focus more.

I see you are a US trader. I just started a thread to see if we could pool tips for our special trading circumstances. Do you know any other US traders who have started journals?

BTW, I am trading in the Pacific time zone.

Thanks,

I trade AIMS Fruit template in H1 and above and I don't find any limitation with US brokers. I am comfortable trading with 1:50 leverage, No Hedging and FIFO. When following AIMS system, none of these matter anyway. If hedging is part of trading plan, one can open another account with the same amount and use it to hedge. Personally I don't hedge and imo, it is sure way to lose money.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know any other US members of AIMS?

What time zone are you in?

I don't know any US broker that allows trading DAX as most AIMS members are doing. Do you know one? Most foreign brokers I have checked out don't take US citizens either.

Oanda US took gold off of their list and said we couldn't trade it because we were US residents. Their other locations allow it. I don't mind the leverage issue but I would like to be the one to chose how much I risk and how I risk it!

Thanks again for any help.

No. I don't know if any other AIMSter is from USA.

I am in CST zone.

If you like to trade DAX one possibility is to use optionsXpress, but the margin requirements is very high.
I am pretty much happy with the currency pairs EURUSD and AUDUSD... these are the main pairs I trade everyday.
There are some offshore brokers like FxChoice and ForexBrokerInc who accepts US people. But I don't have much experience with them.

Good luck
