Hi all,

My first post. I joined last week. I've read almost every thread and confused myself thoroughly, but I'm back on track and looking forward to the AIMS experience. I have several questions I need some guidance on... Here we go...

Background:
I live in California (Pacific Time), and have a full time job/family, etc...
I have about three years of Forex experience, with some terrific losses... I mean, "learning experiences."

Questions:
1) Can I make a minimum of 10%/month trading the New York Open session only? If my math is right, the Chat Room Skype team focuses on the New York open from 13:00 to 16:30 GMT, which I think is 5am to 8:30am Pacific Time, yes?

2) While I write my Trading Plan, I'm very interested in trading the Fruit/Seed method. The question is, what Indicators and/or Template do I use? (The forum's are very confusing on that subject) Here's what I've loaded as my default chart indicators/template:

AIMS Box V5.1
AIMS Gator V5.2
AIMS Entry Alert V5.1
AIMS The Fruit V4.0
DIBSv2.0 snorm
snorm_forex_widget
Snorm eWAVES V1.0
(Soon to be added, Snorms' ATM EA)

3) That said, I'm having MT4 connectivity issues and I'm not sure if it's indicator related? When the market is moving fast, my MT4 platform is locking up (ie "Unresponsive" to commands). I have no other applications open, and cut down my open trade windows to EUR/USD M1, and M5 ... it still does it. My laptop is less than six months old. I know it's not my internet because my iPad MT4 is tracking live pricing just fine. Thoughts?

A side note... while experimenting with adding and removing different indicators... I removed snorm's forex widget, half of it still remained on screen... I could right click and delete portions of it, but it wouldn't go away. Very strange.

Sorry Mike, I was away and did not find time to reply in detail, a shrot reply is always possible long one needs a pc/laptop and some time.

ps: congratulations on starting your own journal. Its a major step towards trading success.
1. Question 1 is useless. Most often we think its a clever question but its not. You cna make from 0 to whatever number you like %... that's not the problem. We focus on New York Bank open and the Equities open, 8.30 - 9.30 2-3 hrs afterwards
2. The Fruit indicators package gives you exactly what you should be using, there is no need for guessing.
3. Please contact your broker they are always very helpful even if you have a demo account. Try reducing history bars. MT4 is not heavy on resources specially for modern pcs.
4. try downloading Snorms Chart cleaner from his website.

Thanks! Great advice on history bars, which I cut down to the minimum. I also downloaded Snorms chart cleaner. So far it looks a lot better... will have to wait for a news release for the true test.

As for the Fruit Indicators... (This is Left Brained of me)... Here's what's in the package;

AIMS Box v5.1
AIMS Gator V5.1 (I know there's a 5.2 in the forum)
AIMS The Fruit Bars V1.1
AIMS The Fruit V2.5
AIMS The Fruit V4.0
AIMS WAVES V5.1
And an image of the Fruit V5.2 indicators package, shown below... There's a Seed v2.2 listed? Again, trying to get an understanding between the different "Fruits" above... and make sure I'm using the latest revisions.

The seed v2.2 or the Fruit Bars is similar item, chose one.
Either go with AIMS Gator v5.1 or v5.2 (i sue v5.1) or use the normal alligator does not matter
AIMS the Fruit v4.0 or V2.5 there is a choice, go for 4.0. either
AIMS wave v5.1 or Snorms eWave both good (don't use the orange bars)

hope it makes sense.

Immy, not sure what picture you're looking for... so, I attached 2 charts, and their associated list of indicators. Secondly, is there a thread about Snorms ATM? I can't seem to figure out how to enter one Pending order and have half of it close at 1:1.

Hi

Use Gator v5.1 , I don't like this meshed out area anymore. There is a reason... you won't see Apple Trades.. but then there is a question
Are you going to trade Fruit strategy? if yes, you don't need the other signals.

The pictures, otherwise look fine depending on what strategy are you going to employ???
