Mon. Mar. 14, 2016
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 10:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
There was a big up move going on from mid-FO session and it was prolonged after LO as well, so I waited for the pullback which came rather late.
Trade 1 - Cherry:
I was so eager to catch a bit of that strong up move, that I took that first signal although it was in a much too early stage at that correction without reasonable pullback or appropriate price action. My experience should have warned me that it was more likely that there will be some sort of a-b-c zigzag correction but autopilot took over and placed the trade. Of course it got kicked out at init SL with some slippage in addition. -1.1R.
Cherry, SL = 13.0p = 1.0R, TP = 26.0p = 2.0R
Result: -13.8p = -1.1R, DS = 0
Trade 2 - Cherry:
Although Trade 1 failed a few candles earlier, I was still clearly bullish and took that lovely PC-Cherry gratefully at the possible end of that small a-b-c correction. There was good distance of 2R-TP to mTZ1 and the trade worked out quickly in less than 3 minutes with some positive slippage and +2.2R.
Cherry, SL = 9.7p = 1.0R, TP = 19.4p = 2.0R
Result: +21.5p = +2.2R, DS = 1
Today's result: +7.7p = + 1.1R, DS = 1 / 2, 1.00hrs

Although there was some movement and structure, it wasn't the condition I like for setups. Therefore I skipped the few signals according to the explaination on the screenshots.
Today's result: no trades, +/-0p = +/-0R, 2.00hrs

Second day in a row for me without a trade. Good practice for discipline and patiance. Skipped some signals due to comments on screenshot. I had to leave earlier than planned which wasn't a very hard decission with conditions like that ;-)

Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
Session with plenty of volatility and movement but, unfortunately, this time without many signals in winning positions.
Trade 1 - Seed:
A good Seed in combination with monarch-like AO. The price action was promising as there was a impulsive breakout of previous range and pullback at that range. It got stopped out closely before it went further up.
Seed, SL = 11.3p = 1R, TP = 22.6p = 2R
Result: -11.3p = -1R, DS = 1
During the following correction there showed up which I either skipped or had POs which got invalidated. Descriptions form them are on the screenshot.
Trade 2 -Seed:
After w5 turned into new w3, there was a pullback with a Cherry, which I skipped (see screenshot), and a Seed which I took because that Seed was at a better position then previous Cherry. I was trying to catch w5 of w3. It simply didn't work out and init SL got hit.
Seed, SL = 8.7p = 1R, TP = 17.4p = 2R
Result: -9.0p = -1.03R, DS = 1
Trade 3 - Cherry:
At the very next candle after the exit candle of T2, there was formed a Cherry in combination with a Principle C (PC). My bias was still bullish due to M5 gator reading therefore I was confident taking that signal. It worked out very well and moved to TP with +2R without any pullback in 7 minutes.
Cherry, SL = 11.7p = 1R, TP = 23.4p = 2R
Result: +23.8p = +2.03R, DS = 1
Today's result: +3.5p = +/-0.0R, DS = 3 / 3, 2.00 hrs

There were terrible bombing attacks in Brussels this morning and DAX reacted with a strong decline. Regarding to trading we, unfortunately, didn't get signals into that down move. After 30 minutes the down move came to its end at a VERY obvious M5 up-Fruit. That up move, I considered as correction and therefore I didn't take first long-Cherry signal. The second bunch of signals I missed because I wasn't at the charts at that time. The third group of signals I skipped intentionally as TZ1 was already too close and mTZ1 (with pullback leg at 50%) had already been hit.
My analysis was ok for me and discipline was on stake today, therefore I'm rather happy to resist my urge to get into the moves anyhow.
But more importantly the very lively discussion on Skype with the fellow AIMSters and with many valuable hints and insights from Immy was very encouraging and inspiring - thanks a lot guys ;-)
Today's result: no trades, +/-0.0R, DS = 0 / 0, 2.00 hrs

There was a big up move during FO session but no gap today what made eWave reading/structure reliable right from the beginning of LO.
LO itself started with some erratic big up and down candles for about 20 minutes before it calmed down a bit. I waited for a tightening box and a cross of AO but both didn't happen and I skipped the attempt catching the breakout.
Trade 1 - Seed:
The following up move caused a new peak of AO and I took the first Seed signal of a pullback which bounced of last swing high. The signal was good and reasonable but I was a little bit concerned that it might go into longer correction forming a zigzag/PC pattern which actually happend and init SL got hit with -1R - a typicle entry into b-wave (so called "b-trap").
Seed, SL = 8.3p = 1R, TP = 16.6p = 2R
Result: -8.3p = -1.0R, DS = 1
Trade 2 - PC-Cherry
This time the zigzag/abc-correction seemed to be finished (Principle C - PC) when that nice Cherry showed up. TZ1 was far enough away and I took another attempt to catch a possible w5 of w3. After a short period inside the range it broke out, hit R1 level (SL -> BE) but didn't proceed much further, reversed and hit SL at BE with +/-0.0R.
PC-Cherry, SL = 11.2p = 1R, TP = 22.4p = 2R
Result: BE = 0.0p = 0.0R, DS = 1
Trade 3 - Classic breakout:
The recent correction in which I took Trade 1 and 2 developed further and formed a proper w4 with cross of AO-zero line and again with a great looking a-c-b correction. As very often, c-wave of w4 was rather impulsive and bounced off near gator and/or at w4 of w3. This was indication for me that we were at the beginning of the final w5 and therefore, I placed PO above AIMS box with fixed SL of 10p and TP of 20p was below mTZ1 -> all lights on green for it. After PO was triggered I was a bit lucky when a small pullback missed init SL by 1.5p. After that, it rushed beyond TP in not even 3 minutes. Nice outcome
)
Classic breakout, SL = 10p = 1R, TP = 20p = 2R
Result: +20.0p = +2.0R, DS = 1
Today's result: +11.7p = +1.0R, DS = 3 / 3, 2.00 hrs
Like yesterday we had some lively conversations in AIMS Skype room, where Immy allowed more insights into his nearly endless seemingly knowledge and his great integration of mental, psychological and philosophical issues into trading and trading into a mental, psychological and philosophical framework. I'm very grateful that Immy, and of course Grant as well, is mentoring us. ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Without joking Immy, your inputs in Skype room during live trading are of highest value for me to stay on track. Espacially if they are a bit uncomfortable at those moments because then I often get reminded that my focus is straying from charts. I highly apprechiate it!!!
Happy Easter, Immy, to you and you beloved
