Re: Ray's amnesty page
Yes on some frames I do have different colours for the price bars and find it helps. I prefer these sort of bars over candles too, I'm not so interested in wicks.
And seeing as other folks are good enough to show their losses and errors, here is my worst trade from Friday. Sometimes the market just doesn't want to go our way.

Re: Ray's amnesty page
Ray,
Thanks for posting your loss. I get these reversals all the time and my catastrophic brain thinks I am the only one that gets them! My logical brain knows better but who is ruling the roost? Sometimes I think that taking the red and green candles off the chart and using one color bars may cool the emotions somewhat.

Okay, in the cool of the evening or morning, why was it stupid? The gator was opening, there were higher highs and higher lows. AO was close to zero and going up. Don't know what the higher TF was doing. You got out at the break of the green and saved yourself a lot of pips.

Re: Ray's amnesty page
I must admit I had to check to see that Germany markets weren't closed today, the range was just so tight, and bad for opportunities
In fact nothing happened.

Re: Ray's amnesty page
My currency trade setups just went flat. Thankfully nothing was triggered. Tomorrows another day although a short one for me. Maybe Obama and Yellen decided to freeze the markets in their secret meeting!

Re: Ray's amnesty page
I honestly don't know Ed.
There are folks talking about the 200sma (not a line which Aimsters would regard seeing we "believe" more in fractals), and that the 200 suggests resistance a little higher than here. We are at quite a high point compared with all other days so far this year, I also remember it being said that when you don't know what's going on and it carries on for a long time it is possible you're in the 4th wave
Perhaps people will feel a little less anxious momentarily on account of this new information: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 85146.html
Anyway I had a lucky shot this morning already which makes me feel a lot better after only giving away points yesterday
not an s1, it was an "add on" really and closed for no other reason than it seemed "enough", and because I wanted to be out of the way before LO when it tends to go a bit wild for a minute or two
