Hello Adrian,
it's great that you're placing your trades in your journal regularely. It's a vitally important part of trading keeping a detailed and regularely updated journal and trading record.

I've realized that you're trading M1 EURUSD. From my very personal point of view, due to the currently low volatility and small daily ranges, currencies, even EURUSD, are not the most suitable instruments for trading AIMS strategies on M1 at the moment. Until mid 2014 EURUSD moved nicely but not anymore. For trading AIMS strategies on M1, DAX is unbeaten at the moment with it's consistantly very high volatility and regular daily ranges of 150-200 points and more. But that's just my 5 cents ;-)

Hi Michael,
thanks for your feedback. I am trying to trade everyday but sometimes i miss the trades so i just them go.

The comment about the EUR/USD is very useful as i was thinking of dropping it and i will just focus on DAX now.

I have had a few days without trades as I have had work commitments.

trade on 19th April is as follows;

Trade: Long DAX at 10365.8 (14.51pm Brokers time)
Trade Setup: Setup 1

Exit: My SL was 13 pips at 10352.3
Comments: I had the green dot, crossed the AO line so everything looked good except it went the other way, oh well

DS Score: 1



Todays trade;

Trade: Sell DAX at 10391.3 (13.08pm Brokers time)
Trade Setup: Setup 1

Exit: My SL was moved to just above the green line 10371
Comments: I exited te trade when it crossed the green and the candle closed above the green line

I havent been able to trade that often lately, but i had a couple trades this week. I was a little side tracked as I have been bringing work home.

Trade on 27th April is as follows;

Trade: Long EUR/USD at 1.1366 (13.38pm Brokers time)
Trade Setup: Setup 1

Exit: My TP was 1.13123(Loss)

Comments: Loss and was not really focused as I was also doing my work(job) at the same time.

Today I had a few losses because i wasn't in the best mood and i kept trading. Work really pissed me off and I allowed it to enter my trading.

Todays trade is as follows;

Trade: Sell DAX at 10169.5 (13.59pm Brokers time)
Trade Setup: Setup 1

Exit: 10181.4 - hit my stop loss

Comments: I wasnt feeling good and kept on trading

Comments: i followed the rules but trading during the LO & NEO is not serving me well. I think i have to start trading the NEO as I miss the LO

Third Trade for the day

This would of made up for the losses on the other two trades before it but for some reason my SL was really tight and it was hit before the price went down. I wasnt watching it closely as I got distracted by something else

Trade: Sell DAX at 10107.4 (16.43pm Brokers time)
Trade Setup: Setup 1

Exit: 10117.4 - hit my stop loss earlier than my usual 15 pip Stop loss point.

Comments: The price ended up going down and I would of made up my losses and been in profit but the tight SL let me down.

DS Score: 0 - SL was not my usual and i will need to look more closely at my trading.

I am changing the time I trade to wait for the New York open because I was trying to trade a slow moving market in between LO and NEO and it was not working for me.

New York Open is late in Australia, but so be it

Exit: 9826.5-pre determined profit target of 20 pips hit. Not what I usually aim for but I accidently had it in at 20 pips
Comments: After last trade(last week) I am happy with this trade and how I saw it.

NEO is worth it, becasue NEO is New York Equities Open. Things move aroudn that time... sometimes it moves around bank open, specially when there are majore US news scheduled at NYO. so watchout for those.

Comments: Price had finished a big downward trend, i didnt take this into account

Comments: Probably got in the trade late thinking it was going to keep going down.

DS Score: 0 - AO crossed zero a long time before i entered but i made the mistake of thinking it had crossed again
