Screen time:
London Open session 8:45 - 11:00 (GMT+2 DST) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
This morning session started similar like yesterday's with some erratic, big candles without forming trend. But in contrast to yesterday it broke out of the range during last 30 minutes of my session. I didn't took the gambling trades at break of AIMS boxes as it was undecided hovering around purple without clear structure neither on M1 nor on M5 or H1.
Trade 1 - LO breakout:
This was the attempt to catch the LO breakout. As M1 and M5 lower AIMS levels were rather close I decided to place PO below M5 box. It got triggered with pace but price reversed only a bit more than 1 minute after entry. This time it passed 1R level and therefore SL was moved to BE where it got hit with some slippeage of -2.5p
LO breakout, SL = 10p = 1R, no TP
Exit: SL to BE after 1R hit
Result: BE (with -2.5p slippage) = -0.25R, DS = 1
Trade 2 - Cherry:
After price finally broke out of the range, it formed a strong down move, followed by a good pullback with a pretty little Cherry on top of the pullback. To my analysis it was entry into w5 of w3 therefore I placed TP at 2R level a bit above mTZ1. PO got hit at the very next bar and price moved to TP rapidly. Exit level turned out to be a good spot as price reversed sharply after it tested mTZ1.
Cherry, SL = 10p (2p slipp.) = 1.25R, TP = 20p = 2.5R
Exit: hard TP above mTZ1
Result: +20.0p = +2.5R, DS = 1
Today's Result: +17.5p = +2.25R, DS = 1, 2.25 hrs

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
Mon. April 25, 2016
no trading due to business commitments
Tue. April 26, 2016
Screen time:
London Open session 8:45 - 11:00 (GMT+2 DST) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
NYO session 14:30 - 15:30 (GMT+2 DST) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
LO Session:
Today's LO session was very active trading wise due to DAX's strong moves in both directions.
Trade 1 - LO breakout:
This was a great double M1/M5 AIMS break which worked out very well at the beginning but without any reversal signal it grinded down into FO/LO range and the trade got exited by trailing AIMS, handled by ATM.
LO breakout, SL = 10p = 1R, no TP
Exit: Trailing AIMS via ATM
Result: +1.4p = +0.1R, DS = 1
Trade 2 - Cherry:
Next attempt of DAX to break the range with an strong up move. At first pullback there showed up good Cherry signal right at green gator. I took it with confidence and without hasitation. I didn't place hard TP as it was first pullback which meant that it had the potential to be the initiation of a huge up move. PO got triggered by 0.2p but it simply didn't work out and hit init SL quickly. Next ;-)
Cherry, SL = 8.5p = 1R, no TP
Exit: init SL
Result: -8.5p = -1R, DS = 1
Trade 3 - Cherry:
This time during a move in the down direction, after breakout to the up side failed. Structure and movement were clear and obvious, only move was already rather "old" but it was definitely worth taking, IMHO. For that reason, I placed TP at +2R which was above mTZ1 of most recent push-pull cycle. Analysis was correct and TP got hit without reaching init SL level but MM moved SL to BE when 1R level got hit. Therefore trade ended with BE.
Cherry, SL = 5.5p = 1R, TP = 11p = 2R
Exit: SL to BE after 1R level hit
Result: BE = +/-0R, DS = 1
Trade 4 - Cherry:
This was the second attempt to catch the final push after price broke out of a smooth and steady down move strongly. Later it turned out that it had already been end of w5. But I was a bit eager to catch something out of that lovely down move which I hadn't been able to take some points out of yet. I lost discipline and wanted to force a winner => DS = 0 for that. I was obviously already not 100% confident anyway otherwise I wouldn't have placed a 10p hard TP - that's rediculous. Anyway, I took and I'm the only one who's responsible for it. Anyway, it happened. Next ;-)
Cherry, SL = 5p = 1R, TP = 10p = 2R 8-}
Exit: init SL
Result: -6p = -1.2R, DS = 0
Afternoon/NYO session:
I had to wait for a meeting because clients were late and I had my Laptop with me. Ok, I thought, let's do some trading paper work. When I opened my charts, great structure on M1 and M5 unfolded itself infront of my eyes and I decided to use the opportunity now and do the paper work in the evening, as usual.
Trade 5 - Adam's Apple + 1 add on:
M5 showed a very promising AA followed by some very impulsive down candles some bars before I entered which indicated possible beginning of w5 on M5. This move was, of course, visualised on M1 as well. Now I waited for some pullback. The first small one ended with a Seed but pullback was too shallow for my taste, therefore, I skipped it. Then m5 pulled back as well, forming a clear w1-2 on M5, which was confirmed by an obvious Monarch AO pattern on M5 2 candles later. Parallel to that there painted a very clear Adam's Apple on M1 with some confidence boosters:
- good angulation between price and blue/red gator
- exactly at 50% pullback
- rather close to purple
- in line with M1 (into w5) AND M5 (into w3!!!) structure
No doubts taking that signal. My hard TP was a few points above M5 TZ1 which has in a nice distance of nearly 6:1 but not too many points of only 40p. After triggering and a short period of indecisiveness, it broke out to down side nicely, retraced a bit, formed a new lower AIMS level, where I added on. I didn't add on further because TZ1 of w5 of M1 was already close and although I was targetting TZ1 of w5 of M5, I was respecting strong level of M1's TZ1 as potential point of reversal. So I sticked to my 2 positions and wanted to ride them down to M5 TZ1 or to have them exited by ATM by trailing AIMS levels. TP got hit first and it was a very good spot - as analysed.
Adam's Apple + AIMS break addon
SL = 7p + 17.2p = 1R + 1R
TP = 40p + 30p = 5.7R + 1.7R (above M5 TZ1)
Exit: Trailing AIMS by ATM
Result: +40p + 30p = +5.7R + 1.7R = +70p = +7.4R
DS = 1
Today's result: + 56.9p = + 5.1R, DS = 4 / 5, 3.25 hrs
IMHO, this day is a good example to me, how important it is to have confidence in valid signals and following the rules according to our trading plans. Had I lost confidence and had skipped that AA campaign due to protective emotions after my -2R morning although all lights were on go-go-go, it would have had bad impacts not only on my account but mainly on my confidence into myself and my discipline.

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
RESULT OF APRIL 2016
Week 13: -7.8p = -1.0R, DS = 1/1, 1.50 hrs (The Hunt/AA/S1/S2)
Week 14: + 146.4p = +11.7R, DS = 13/14, 6,75 hrs (The Hunt/AA/S1/S2)
Week 15: + 118.1p = +11.6R, DS = 9/11, 9.00 hrs (The Hunt/AA/S1/S2)
Week 16: + 55.0p = +5.1R, DS = 13/13, 9.00 hrs (The Hunt/AA/S1/S2)
Week 17: +78.8p = +7.2R, DS = 14/16, 10.00 hrs (The Hunt/AA/S1/S2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Result: + 390,5p = + 38.9R (with compounding), DS = 50/55 (91%), 36.25 hrs
I'm very happy about my first month of The Hunt Amalgation. After the 3 months pure The Hunt Challange, I've changed my trading of pure The Hunt by adding some new (old ;-) ) entry setups (AA/S1/S2/BO) and by modifying trade management (letting winners run more often, espacially at AA, S1/S2 and BO entries and at The Hunt entries at possible w1-2 [Monarch signals]).
I felt much more in tune with market again as I was and am forced much more to stay focused and attentive in contrast to pure The Hunt. This is very valuable feature of The Hunt but a mistake of my inability to stay concentrated during longer periods of inactivity which are rather typical for The Hunt due to its strong built-in filters.
But some words of caution:
I CANNOT recommend adding Adam's Apple/S1/S2 to The Hunt as a commonly used approach due to its completely different Risk-, Trade- and Money-Managemnets, it's counter trend elements and it's entries inside w4s instead of safe entries inside w3s and w5s. For some reason I can handle it and feel comfortable with but I would recommend trading The Hunt and AA/S1/S2 setups on different accounts.
