Trades for today 12 Jan 2012
Hi,
The fear in me was truly tested today, looking at the time I took the 1st trade to the last trade If I could, I would have just been on that trend till the last of it, but I kept on getting in and out
. I guess I will be able to manage my fear with time. I had 4 positive trades = 34 pips and I had to pay
Rent = -13 pips (I was silly for taking this trade, my cork up
)
My total for today = 21 pips (2%)
Please see attachment below for wise words and comments
Thanks,
T-Rod

Re: T-Rod Journal
Hi
Just been looking through some journals today, congratulations on the trades you posted a good outcome for you.
A couple of observations, you seem to have taken a few trades towards the purple, if this is a concious decision then ok but I understand that it is recommended to trade away from the purple line. My second observation is that on some of the trades I'm not wholly sure what prompted your exit.
Well done though looks like you made c4% over those 2 days which is a great return.
Cheers
Mike

Re: T-Rod Journal
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your kind comments. I always try to trade with the trend, I guess it was just misjudgement that I traded towards the purple line (newbie's mistake
). As for going out of the trades too quickly, Fear, fear and more fear, I guess that something I just need to overcome as I progress in trading. But with great advice from competent traders like yourself one can only get better with time.
Thanks
T-Rod

Re: T-Rod Journal
Hi Julius,
I confused myself by looking at the stochastic oscillator whilst on the trade and that resulted in me going in and out of trades
. From now on I will just use Aims as is with no additional indicators. It works perfectly as is.
Regards,
Thami
