Yes 13 pips is always 1%, every night i recalculate the lotsize for the next day, so if i pay a rent of 10 pips its 0.76%.....

The +/-3 does include the spread (1.6 for me at Alpari)

Again the 13 does include the spread as well

Hope this helps

Hi Grant

I don't think I understand this.... regarding the +/-3 pips, if your spread is 1.6 then aren't you effectively just allowing 1.4 pips room for a long trade, but allowing the full 3 for a short trade?

HI Bobby,

its actually the other way round, for long trades its the full 3 as we work off of the bid price and for short trades its 1.4 pips as we work off the ask price....

However you are correct in saying 1 way is more than the other, i've always done that so that the bid/ask prices are both out side aims by a pip before my SL triggers. If doing it exactly then the SLs should be 2.6 pips outside but my maths was always better with whole numbers hence the 3 pips....

I think Imran uses a different figure for his buffer from the aims level...

hope this helps

Hi everyone,

It’s good to see a number of members now keeping journals and having read through all the entries from today I have to say that I’m very impressed with the level of discipline going on. It’s great to see new and old traders to this system actually following the rules and where necessary not taking trades just for the sake of it…. Keep it up!!!!!

All in all todays price action like yesterdays is under the umbrella of an h1 4th wave and can be best described as a clusterf--k. As I’m writing this (10pm UK) price is still in a 30 pip range stuck between the LO and NYO prices… As trend traders (even on the m1) we sometimes just have to put sessions/days down to experience and come out punching the next day….

Was off from work today but managed to get called out just before I finished so missed the LO. Turns out I didnt miss much as there were no trades during the webinar. Here’s hoping for some more action in the next one.

I did manage 2 trades today which were:

1. 0
2. -5

Total : -5 (-0.38%)

Trade records including pics are posted below.

Cheers

Hi Grant,

Noticed you have indicators now for London Open and New York and (guess) Frankfurt Open. Any reference point as to where I may access these please ?

Thanks,
