Re: New - Aims Journal first 20 trades
I am almost completed the first 20 trades with Aims - my pip count is -8. I have kept a table of results and a brief journal of all trades and taken chart shots. My record keeping here has not been perfect and is made harder with 2 platforms.
I see these things in my mind: 1. Keep more accurate chart shots on MT4 and make sure I have included M1 and M5 - I
2. I have only traded the London open for the first 2 hours ( I live in Australia). There are plenty of setups but often the the run is short and then reverses. My performance has worsened as the more trades I made.
3. My only session of add-on trades was reasonably successful - I took profit as I went which was just as well as the trend ended early as is most often the case.
Where to from here? Finish the first 20 trades (2 to go) and do the same again - trading the EURUSD London session for 20 trades with same risk parameters.

Re: New - Aims Journal first 20 trades
The idea with T20 is that you have the same rules and charts with a trading plan. So stick with it in the next T20 samples
Trading is a pattern recognition game. As traders we make decisions in an uncertain environment. Anything can happen. We trade the setups with the highest probility and reflect on our trades in samplesizes of 20. It is our job to keep our mind(s) focused, relaxed, enjoyed and to trust ourself in the proces of staying diciplined to our trading plan. We plan our trade and then trade our plan.

Re: New - Aims Journal first 20 trades
Congratulations on starting your journal and congratulations on completing your first Batch of T20.
What have you learned about the method in your campaign of T20?
What have you learned about yourself?
What have you learned about the market?
It is your first goal. and at the end of this. you reward yourself with something ...
and then build on your strengths and improve your weaknesses.
So what is your score of T20? have you achieved 80% score of discipline? have you followed it 100%? what is the next goal depends on the answer to these questions...
ps: the FACT that you said "your pip count is 8pips or minus 8" shows that your focus was incorrect. you were supposed to say, my DS is this...
