Signal: 17-10-2016
Signal time: 2:00GMT
Triggered 3:00 GMT

SL: 31 pip

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

I saw a clear e-wave pattern, box was nice and small, it felt just right to take it.
As you can see box was rather small but more to the point I got a good e-wave reading, and I'm really not an Elliott wave person at all, quite frankly any help I can get to become better with my e-wave readings I'd take hence why I love our Skype room. I also hope that my new e-wave Indicator will support me with my readings in future. I've also learned later on that my down move was based on Oil news which came out but I had already executed the trade a few hours prior so I felt lucky that it when into my favour. I should also add I always like to observe what H4 is doing and from what I can understand to date H4 had a valid Hunt seed signal I believe but either way H4 gator was nice and open :-)

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2.0:1

What I learned from this trade: Take more note of pattern which don't make you guess, every time I felt clear about my e-wave count I seemed to get a B/E or 2:01 reach and the ones I was guessing and weren't clear would turn into a 1R loss immediately.

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

First thing I did that morning was watched Immy's video and he mentioned the E/J and had drawn a future box with a potential setup which could happen, so I started to scan my charts and I couldn't believe it that there was a setup 1 exactly where he had predicted it. I also went through my flowchart or GFC and it ticked all boxes. Again it also had my favourite wave pattern very clear wave 3, than a wave 4, it was about to go into a tentative 5.

This trade was very special for me. I got a bit emotional about because I felt that for the first time in YEARS I was getting somewhere with my trading journey.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2.0:1

Watch Immy's videos :-) and keep going through you checklist.

Signal: 25-10-2016 Long
Signal time: 0:00 GMT

SL: 20ip

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

I saw it and to me it was valid based on GFC, it had a nice tight box so I was attracted to it as well. I had the the daily resistance marked on my D1 chart which was rather close however TZ1 had enough wiggle room to get to B/E so again based on rules it was valid. I put PO on did not see it being triggered as I was very distracted with other stuff, only when it closed out at 2:01 TP I realised had the trade running.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2.0:1

I was happy with the outcome because I followed my rules even though I was certain it either wont get triggered or stopped out at that resistance I had market at 99.52

Yes yes, keep going! Train goes and you get there. On the way there are losses, winners, break-evens, mistakes and successes. Keep taking trades by the rules and enjoy the ride.

Hi Jasmien, I enjoyed reading your journals, I have read from the start and see how you gain more confidence till now.

Hope you don't mind if I ask, how do you currently manage your trade? What is your trade management rules? eg. do you close half position at 1R, then close the remaining half at 2R? or do you adjust your stop loss to BE for all position when price reached 1R, then take all position at 2R?

Cheers

After 2 weeks trading break and missing some rather good setup's I was very keen to jump in again :-) this worked out to be a B/E and of course it had my favourite ewave reading as well.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. B/E

Signal: 16-11-2016 Long
Signal time: 6:00 GMT
Triggered 9:00 GMT

SL: 36pip

My reasons for taking this setup:

This was an interesting one, as it did not have my common ewave reading, however my new ewave harmonics Indi had comfirmed that we are in wave 4 and it was also a fresh cross. A little sideways wave 4 before going into a tentative wave 5 but overall I was bearish on this pair as I had also a nice Hunt/Dot bearish cheery on H4, Immy once pointed that out on a weekly chart so it stayed with me. I was confident with that one.

I've also added the H4 chart with what I'd seen prior signal got triggered, I normally just look for an open gator on H4 and hopefully a nice hunt seed that is also quite helpful at times for added confluences, so hunt signal and a red-dot just added confidence in taking the actual setup.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2:1
