Hi Everyone,

I have decided to start 5 batch of T20 principles and become a successful trader !

TRADING JOURNAL

CURRENCY PAIRS TRADED: EUR/USD GBP/USD USD/JPY AUD/USD NZD/USD EUR/JPY USD/CAD USD/CHF EUR/AUD EUR/GBP GOLD

TIMEFRAME: H1 for setup H4 for trend confirmation

SETUP: Classic S1

MONEY MANAGEMENT: 1% per trade

STOP LOSS:Opposite side of box for S1 and Above red line for S2

TRADE MANAGEMENT: BE 1R TP 2R

PS:
Do not hesitate to tell me when I made a mistake because I'm not sure about having understood everything about the strategy

Hello and welcome, and congratulations on starting your journal, thats one of the essential steps to become a disciplined trader, and that is key to success.
Trading plan is another very important part of your success and you need a detailed trading plan with everything outlined, from entries to exits and all the rest of the strategy but thats not all, It should contain everything from what you want to achieve, your goals to your daily routine and how your going to achieve it, you can find a sample plan on the hunt section, it will take awhile to make a decent detailed plan but dont skip it. The bit about the strategy is actually a very small part of it so be sure to make time to build the plan.
After that its just a matter of applying the T20 principle to your trades, keep score of your trades in batches and applying a discipline score to it.
Once your done with all that you will understand why its all needed.

Now for the less important part: stick to S1 only, the S2 are harder to trade correctly and the double signal? your talking about the double arrow? that is obsolete, the S1 is all you need, and you want it to be very simple and objective for this phase of discipline training. The daily emergency stop loss isnt needed as well, since trading Hourly chart you will have few trades everyday, and some of them will carry more than one day, also you are not worried about profit right away, just to apply the plan and achieve discipline, of course this should be all done on a demo account for your first batches. Keeeping it simple the recommended management for your first batch is: 1% entry for 1R to 2R target. SL to BE at 1R. Thats it, when you spot a setup you set it up and leave it, it either goes for 2R and -1R, or Breakeven if it touched the 1R mark.

Well answer any questions you might have here in your journal or on skype chat if you joined it.
You can read others journals as well to learn with everyone else journey to the discipline.
Good work!

Were you Babysitting your Hourly Time Frame Based Trade?

There are two NEWS events that I would most definitely wnat to know when they happen as long as I'm trading at least below the D1 Chart.
One is FOMC the other is NFP... www.forexfactory.com
